If you truly believe the Paparazzi were responsible then you are indeed lost. @greyfoxau One thing I am quite sure is that this tunnel security doesn't correspond to the one we have here in US. It seems that there is no guardrail in front of the columns and elsewhere in the tunnel to prevent that kind of crash, it is suicidal and not conform to the basic security that we see on all the roads. In this case, the French engineers who design the tunnel for the city should be sued.

Strange- I have different memories of what was shown of the crash that night - I was up with my son watching TV & heard the first report of the crash without pictures at about 2.15am then shortly after a newsflash with images of the car by the exit of the tunnel. The car was outside the tunnel and looked nothing like that mangled mess shown in reports of the event now. Princess Di was in the passenger seat looking shaken, but not seriously injured. I was shocked to hear she had died at abt. 5am

The photographer was killed because he was part of the plan to get that last picture of Diana. The driver of Dodi's car looked terrified, not drunk. There was also speculation that Diana's injuries were as they stated, but she was given medication that induces 'cardiac arrest.' ...and unless she suffered severe blood loss from her leg injury, why would a perfectly healthy 36 year old woman die from lacerations? I don't believe the part about the drugs. Dodi came from wealth.

I don't care if the driver was drinking or not. If the photographers had not been chasing the car and flashing the camera lights, the driver would not have crashed. The paparazzi killed her and Dodi. There needs to be more control regarding their behavior.
