Love that chugging verse riff, has a very metallica feel to it, which is no bad thing, cause if you are gonna take influence from a metal band, metallica is not a bad choice.

This is one of those songs that just makes me think apocalypse, i imagine new york city in chaos and the statue of liberty in pieces, just everything going to shit basically. it really has that feel to it IMO.

I used to have very little respect for Trivium, because I thought they were just an average metalcore band. But after hearing songs off of The Crusade and Shogun, I'm just blown away at how much better they are than other metalcore bands. They really are a great band.
