I think The Pixies are one of the best bands ever. I remember watching a video some time ago with the members of Radiohead saying The Pixies made them want to become musicians.

I saw these guys back in the early 90's when I was younger. They're really good artists. Hopefully I'll get to see them again. Does Franky Black got a new album coming out soon? Gotta get that.

I totally agree. The only people that should be playing pixies songs are the Pixies themselves. I know what your talking about though.During my travels through the midwest I witnessed a couple of Pixies tribute bands.They sucked.I've been to quite a bit of Pixies shows back in the day and I can honestly say "nothing beats the real thing"! It's alright to play a couple of their songs in between a set list but to try and play all their songs in a tribute band is not only LLame but oh so retarded!

Hellz Yeah! These people who are doing these tribute bands should stop because they are slaughting the songs and ruining the music and if you cant play the songs to a T professionally then dont be playing them at all. Its one thing to throw a couple of their tunes on your set list while on stage but totally different to do a tribute band and try to play all their songs than your just being lame and retarded. I miss going to the old pixies shows back in the day.
