  • i am doing this for my science fair and can u tell me how much of the card ( that u put in middle) u remove frm the glass

  • That was STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what's up with the 80s german porn music?

  • @naaaaaagz Hahaha!, Maby because he tried this with his jizz first haha

  • @alain026 and popsicles :)

  • Everyone sayin its science n all that IN MY OPINION I THINK UR GEEKS

  • DUDE ! logic !! alcohol floats on water, the only thing you need to is make sure the gap is very very small.. that' no magic trick, that's physics !

  • Its all about specific gravity. the specific gravity of water is 1.000. the specific gravity of Johny walker is around .925 causing it to "float" on water.

  • @rx7man629 actually its not gravity, its density.

  • @12ShotCafe Yeah well specific gravity is the measurement of the density of a substance! In comparison to water (distilled) Being 1.000.

  • i will show u a real trick press 0 and left cursor hold it and press up cursor play snake there u go

  • albert heijn bonus kaart hahahahahaahah

  • that is not water.that is oil!

  • It's called physics, not fucking magic.

  • what a waste of liquor..

  • @eatgluedrnkpaint waste? it still drinkable...

  • @eaglephil999 it was more of a joke than anything. not meant to be taken literally. phil.

  • @eaglephil999 ofcourse it is, why is it not?

  • LOL @ the people who think this is fake. Burn the witch!

  • @XXXSuperFlyXXX5 oil is more dense than water? really? i didn't realise oil just sinks right to the bottom.

  • i did this with oil and water worked well

  • @romontbelk Idiot. Go back to school and learn simple science.

  • @romontbelk hay jack ass this stuff works go back to physics fuc tard

  • @xxaustinpxx yeah y dont u post video and do then bitch

  • its a science think the water is more dense so it sinks visa versa

  • @grimet123 density of water rules! :D

  • the water is cold

  • @oassapp too bad that wouldnt make a difference

  • What you use to separate the cups?

  • omg wiskie realy

  • Transition to occur.

  • I enjoy your intentions of letting a small amount on the side be left open for the str

  • Easy, hot whiskey/cold water. Heat rises, and the coldness doesnt.

  • Okay, lemme think.... Its because whiskey is lighter than water, when you place the heavier compound at the top and the lighter one down, the lighter compound moves up and the heavy one comes down. :B

  • lolz u put a little hole in between the water and the wiskey lolz but a good trick!!

  • bob saget

  • it`s an easy trick, I know this from a long time, but I like itXDXDXD

  • haha..kc mas magaan un whiskey kaysa sa tubig kaya umibabaw un.prang sa mantika..

  • Not only is it a man law/party foul to use Johnny Walker black label and waste it this way, but it's also SCOTCH NOT WHISKEY YOU PUSSY. Go get laid, quit wasting a mans liquor.

  • uh, ok... so gravity works. what a waste of whiskey

  • pano 2 ginawa?

  • lol nice

  • Density: Baffling idiots on youtube since 2007.

  • @hix0n2000 its still cool.im quite intelligent and dont have the need to watch these videos or use google to know how they're done but nor do i feel the need to insult peoples youtube videos, especially well done ones such as this.

  • @AKgunplay Cool story, bro.

But honestly, nobody gives a shit.

  • @hix0n2000 trolls: because nobody in the their family cares about their inferiority complex

  • @ab12fred You might wanna check your grammar before you try and insult someone. Nobody will take you seriously otherwise. Or should I also say that grammar baffles idiots too?

  • @hix0n2000 wenn du mir etwas über den gebauch einer anderen sprache sagen möchtest und mir wegen kleineren grammatikalischen fehlern bescheinigen willst, dass ich ein idiot bin, dann bitte ich dich, mir in deutsch zu antworten, denn ich gehe ja davon aus, dass du deine hausaufgaben besser gemacht hast. so talk to me in my language, if you think, that my english is too annoying for you.

  • Comment removed

  • @ab12fred I'm not going to reply to you in your language and here's why. I refuse to butcher it like you butcher the English language.

Now, unless your next comment here has flawless English, I will not respond to it.

  • wow

  • gay

  • @Timeline15 troll

  • penis

  • thatss soo coool:)

  • The reason y he moved the card is so when it opens the whiskey rises up simple

  • Albert heijn bonuskaart hahahaha

  • !!!!

  • idiotic..... i used to do this with olive oil when i was 6

  • @franki8765 it's better to use olive oil than black label whisky...

  • theres no "vacuum" its realllllly simple. theres no hole in the card. when the glasses are together on the card like that its as if they were in one container and the whiskey is less dense than water. so it goes to the top. YES i know there is a vacuum acting on the card from the upside down water but thats not why they swiched places. you could do this in one container just pour wiskey and water in and it will be slower but the whiskey will make its way to the top...

  • i noticed a disruption on the video at 0:32 seconds, what was that?!

  • i noticed a disruption on the video at 0:32 seconds, what was that?!

  • i noticed a disruption on the video at 0:32 seconds, what was that?!

  • So there's a hole in the card or what?

  • Its real i done it if yous tried it and it doesnt work its because yous are doing it wrong duh.

  • @RYMetallicer "you" not "yous"

  • He just played the video backwards duhh

  • @namasayadiana

It's slang; you can spell it how ever the fuck you want..

  • Omfg. Can nobody fucking spell these days? Is everybody completely fuckin retarded?!

  • @Arenicolous you spelled "fucking" wrong

  • @Arenicolous Umm. Fucking*

  • @Arenicolous *fucking*

  • copy and paste

    2. send this to 2 other videos.

    3. hold your breath for 10 seconds.

    4. press refresh twice.

    3. LOOK AT YOUR HANDS

  • 00:29 why did he paused????? did the card moved itself??? LOL

  • 00:30 why did he paused?????

  • i don't understand i know that the water can flow through the other galss but the whiskey ??? how cause it's backwards

  • have you got to use whisky and water or can u use like, eeeeeerrrr, water and orange juice??? plz reply

  • wow how about pour the tow in the same cup and the density willl do the exact same thing.

  • nice

  • Awesome!!!

  • Hahaha, check die AH bonus kaart ;p

  • @Theronnnnnnnnn, black label is crap... try some highland malt if you want the good stuff

  • It's like oil on water

  • We used this video at school to show how densety workes

  • @gypsygirls4eva the whisky is less dense than the water, therefore, it floats

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • does it works with apple juice or something???

  • AH bonuskaart, mooi!

  • @gypsygirls4eva Hah.... It's obviusly because the Whiskey is lighter.

  • @iYok0 brainy person i thought it was fake

  • what did you put ontop of the glass?

  • I know how it works :P easy!

  • i won a bet, doing this! ;)

  • Its called density lol

  • that was raw

  • Whats the polarity of water? How about whiskey? Both are polar, thus the clear liquid is not water or the solutions would mix.

  • @jdizzle677 water doesnt necessarily have a polarity, it is electromagnetic itself overall

  • that is like second grade!!!... you left a gap on the edge of the cupand water is more dense than wiskey so the whiskey floats to the top.. nice try assholeee

  • It only floats because whatever they use is lighter than water and there is a gap between the card so it can swich places.

  • err. sorry, i messsed up with what i typed a little, whiskey is denser that water... so this is not water at all. Im not sure what they used however

  • thats just an easy density trick... they moved the credit card so that there was just the smallest amount of space where the less dense whiskey floated up...

  • 12343?

  • THATS HAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!

  • this was really cool =D ezwebtv

  • they just switched places, kind of like my gender

  • Seriously??? The clear fluid was not water! Water and ethanol are miscible in all volumes so as soon as pure water would be exposed to the alcohol the two solutions would mix, not phase separate!!! The clear fluid is most likely silicone oil which has a higher density than water and is immiscible with water/alcohol

  • Comment removed

  • @jdizzle677 water has a higher density then whisky, so the whisky goes to the top while the water goes to the bottom....lawl..

  • @Leosmell water and whiskey (aka ethanol/water) mix so the density of the solution becomes homogeneous when the two mix.

  • not when done this way, with out any air the affects of gravity caused the water to fall putting pressure on the whiskey causing it to go up because it is obviously warmer than the water. and wtf do you mean polarity?

  • @deafencryption but how does it go through the separator? is there a hole or 2?

  • @jdizzle677 lol dude.. it IS water. the point is he makes a small hole, so the transition isnt too fast, in which case they would mix. Since water is lighter than whiskey it will go up, and the whiskey will come down... simple physics... elementary school. The same thing will happen if you pour water into a glass of whiskey, after a while they will separate like that, because they dont actually chemically bond when they mix, so they can separate.

  • @Shark781227 wouldnt you need 2 holes because youve created a vaccuum?

  • @LiquidChem not really. vacuum is when you have 2 very different environments (like water and air, so the water's density + surface tension make the vacuum bit), here you have the whiskey and water, which are similar environments so they dont make a vacuum. they just change places because the small hole is more than enough for molecules of both to pass :)

  • @Shark781227 oh ok.. i was thinking it was working differently, i understand what youre saying.. you know this is simple potential difference though right?! a vacuum is just a potential difference, or difference in pressures, or potential same thing.. just like all that exists, all is energy changing form, reaching its potential, seeking oneness with its wave function counterpart.. the wntire universe is forever trying so come to oneness as a single wave function. weird huh

  • @LiquidChem "Singularity" is what they like to call it ;)

  • Very Nice ;)

  • I like your shooters :D

  • water is hever

  • so would the whiskey be watered down now?

  • no it would not mix because whiskey is less dense than water so all the water would seep down to the bottom and the whiskey would be just as strong as before.

  • your answer is good. remember that the polarity is not the same. there is the why easyly the whisky goes up quiqly.

  • yes which is why it wouldn't mix because it is not the same viscosity, denseness or polarity so it would be able to mix it would just pass by too fast

  • @sobicodamian

    WRONG

  • if he would put the wisky on top of the water it wownt work

  • @ALEX19066 no shit

  • if u took middle school science u would know that would work

the whiskey is less dense than water so naturally it would move on top of the water forcing the water to move down

  • @JCJPark

    More dense.

  • water more dense

    alcohol less dense

  • That's just simple Chemistry <_<!

  • cause the whiskey is lighter than the water i guess

  • damn..theres some supernatural sht goin on there.. fkn freaky

  • =P its edited

  • @Pokegod100 No. The same thing could be done with water and oil. It's because water is more dense than whiskey. The water is "heavier" than the whiskey, so when the two glasses are placed one on top another with a small hole to allow the water to come in contact witht the whiskey. Because it is denser ("heavier") than the whiskey, it won't stay on top of the whiskey.

  • @4dd50m3p12242 why don't you use you knowledge and invent something

  • @Bennyclay661 Because just about anything a person would need has already been patented. Hahaha. The best I could do is improve an already existing invention.

  • @4dd50m3p12242 very true

  • IT WORKED, NOT!!!!!!

  • yeah right....

  • How dare you use Black Label whisky for this stupendous magic trick!? I aught to come and steal your bottles!

  • water is less dense than whisky so they switch sides because the whisky floats the water will sink =]

  • hahahaha! Albert Heijn Bonus Kaart! LOL!!

  • had to have some hole in the card for it to do that...

  • There was no hole in the card he moved the card off to one side just enough so there was a gap on the other side large enough for the liquids to move through and the surface tension kept it from leaking out of the side where it was at.

  • thx for pointing that out, its amazing the things you miss out on when your high...

  • how did you do that it wiggled

  • haha,well this is the part where i say...SCIENCE!

  • not bad

  • lol. the water is just heavier it works like oil and water. you cant do that upside down

  • nooo the water is a more dense mater then the alchohol get it right :P

  • not magic

the water is heavier so it moves down and the whiskey moves up

  • does this really work

  • Retard

  • i think water is not so heavy than alcohol

  • is it because of the magics?

  • No, you hippie

  • Will this trick work as well using colored rubbing alcohol instead of whiskey? A friend who like to show some kids and we don't want to bring in whiskey or anything like that.

  • i hope you people that think this is magnets can comprehend what im about to say. the whiskey is less dense than the water, so it floats to the top. this is called a suspension. duhhhhh. :)

  • stop the QQ

  • is it because of the magnet ?

  • whiskey must be less dense than water then

  • just coz your a mongo lol

  • yup yup

  • bitch shut your fucking mouth or die or stop spaming before i spam you

  • your are the person who iss watching it so you STFU

  • aaight albert heijn bonus kaart!!!! xD

  • its just not as dense as water so what?

  • the water wet the card and the both went through cause the card was thick anymore to stop them from mixing
