Vern, the Torture Victims won't be "replaced" if you kill them, so it's not worth killing them, talk to them x4 times and they will reveal their treasures locations. Oh and btw The Dark Brotherhood quest is a series of contracts 15+ I think. :)

Should I be go Stormcloak or Empire? It's pretty unclear to me who the "good guys" are and I always prefer to be a good guy in these types of games. Anyone have any advice?

@DWT580 go with which ever, the empire imo is the "good guy" but you get better stuff from the stormcloaks.

@DWT580 There's no good guy, my advice is Imperial Legion, because when I did the Civil War Questline, (note that I was on lvl. 40+) They gave me, Daedric, Ebony, weapons and armor, for me it was useless cause I had all craftable armors, but the extra gold is always welcome . :)
