I'm getting one of these as my first car and really glad it's a strong car. I won't be crashing it as I like to think I'm not like other drivers my age. Good to know that I'll be safe god forbid if anything was to happen
well atleast it was a VW :) my sister had a crash in a VW Polo. the guy on the other side of the road was overtaking round a corner, he was doing about 100mph, the police said. he was driving a mitsubishi evo. my sister was doing about 50mph, so 150mph impact, yet my sister opened the door with only a cut on her head and the other guy had to be cut out his car. his daughter was in the passanger and she broke both her legs. shows how good the germans are at building these machines. VW, AUDI, BMW
@meirelles2006 i had a frontal crash a bout 10 days but with the cup edition it was with a small hyndai AND IT WAS HIS FALL :@ i wasn't wearing seat belt and i was doing about 70km and just the air bag protect me so well and the other driver is in coma i walk out of the car with just a scratch so it s a v v v v v v v good and strong car go VW :D
I have one of these and despite being a fan of classic cars I am happy that my first car is a safe one :)

2 months ago i had a side crash against a tree at about 60km/h with this model...
the tree hit the structural bar between the doors. No airbag set off.
The driver broke both clavicles and the middle finger, and had a 2cm cut in the head. The passenger had no injuries.
It was a strong crash, i'd say its a safe car.
