  • Barber is truly amazing.

I just recently found out about him and was extremely impressed. Love the music.

Some of his tunes, though, bring back memories of playing Wings on the Amiga with the Diary bits while other tunes gives you pictures of senaking about in the Capital Wasteland shooting Mutants and stuff.

  • Some people are never happy unless they're moaning, are they? Why is different always bad for them?

I suppose he should have played the same tunes (even the same set?) 200 times a year, every year, year in year out, since 1954? Wow, what fun you Luddites would have had then!

Keep going Chris, and keep evolving. All power to your elbow, sir!

  • very bad...this is not good..Sorry Chris....te best time you had now with your big band....Its time to stop now...I'm sorry....

  • what a rubbish comment. Curl up and bugger off. I saw him live on thursday and it was incredible. They were on fire!

  • What IS wrong with all you critics?? How can CB be going downhill? Just because he again changed his format? Every musician in the band knows exactly where it's at. How can the rhythm section be hopeless? Joe Farler, John Slaughter, Dave Green and John Sutton work perfectly together. Damn! Get your own bands and if you are musicians keep quiet and don't spoil our days.

  • The (big) band is very bad since 2002..I'm sorry Chris

  • RIP??? The sound on this clip may be crap, but the new line-up is great. Saw them in Feb (for about the 15th time over the last 20 years) and can't remember hearing them play better.

  • the sound is poor quality but the rhythm is good

  • Sorry, Chris, but you are going completely downhill with your Big Band come Sextet.

Yet another hopeless rhythm section and clarinettist.

The recording quality is pretty awful, too, which does'nt help matters.

Such a pity after so many years of enjoyable music.

    RIP.

  • Nonsense, Chris's band is good as ever after 50 years.
