THe Force-A-Nature is a legitimate weapon, and you should lay off it. I use it, along with the Scattergun and they both have their advantages and weaknesses, and they stack up to be about even.

An ok tutorial, I reccomend watching this video after Evildaedalis's 2 "How to play the scout" videos as they provide more visual examples, and better quality basics and class tactics, although do not include the update information, lay off the update weapons tbh though. Pre-update weapons are more succesful athough require more skill.

FaN isn't for noobs. The FaN requires special skill to use, one of which is to delay your blasts and not just unload into your enemy by holding down the mouse button.

if you use the FAN, you should never reload when you still have a shot in the gun. the FaN reloads both barrels, so you would lose a shot.

His aim with the scatter gun is bad and he has major problems dodging rockets the Fan was a bad choice on his part scatter gun is stronger and more shots fan only is good for taking out other scouts besides that its mainly used for beginner scouts and bad aim players.

Scattergun is better for Flanking and keeping a semi-distance.

Doesn't matter which one you use they're both awesome in their own way.

I think the FaN is fine as it is. I've never really had any problems with it and I think that people need to focus on countering it more like they focus on countering spies or pyros.
