I know Glen Cook. He's an awesome guy. One of the nicest people I've ever met.
The salt lake Masonic temple is a really cool, really old building. The guy with the beard towards the end of the video signed my petition. I have my EA degree this coming Monday. I'm so excited.
I cry many times when I see the inside of a Masonic temple. I can just feel the heart and urge to practice my craft and lay hands on those Tools, standing in mass upon the center-circle. Hopefully, that wish may one day come true.
..and why wouldn't you? but I think you may have some misconceptions of our rituals. You make it sound as if it were some sort of ceremonial magic. Perhaps, in a way it is.. but not like the stuff of Crowley et al.
Don't get me wrong, there is a LOT of ceremony and ritual there. I'm a Past Master of my Lodge and have done all the Craft work and I'm also Commander of my Knight Templar Commandery. I'd say that whether our rituals are "ceremonial magic" involves your definition of the same. If you use some definitions such as Donald Michael Kraig might put forward, almost any ritual might be considered ceremonial magic.
true, if you study modern scientific perspectives on self hypnosis and NLP, you may begin to understand the way your mind is always reminding you of who you Think you are, and the way your every act effects what you manifest in your life, then you will begin to understand the way ceremonial magic works.
and True, Crowley was expelled from the order and went his own way, and became a poster child for what happens when you invite the Wrong energies into your system(soul)
No, that is not quite right. Crowley was not expelled from the Order. He never was actually IN the order. From his Craft through Scottish Rite degrees, he took them all in what would today be called Clandestine Lodges. These are Lodges which are not formally recognized by the main stream Grand Lodges.
@davidg8089 Ceremonial magic, as in occult magic. And as many who study magic would know, it is used to manifest energy and spirits, and making contact with them. Thus the integration of symbolism and geometry (which is a huge part of freemasonry) such as the pentagram. The pentagram itself isn't just something related to satan, but its a key, a key to making contact with demons and what not. I'm sure since your a past master, you are very familiar with the pentagram...
The pentagram is a symbol, and I've seen it said to represent any number of things from Christian and non Christian archetypes to the Law of fives of the Discordian Law of Fives. Freemasonry does not try to link to, or make manifest any sort of demons or spirits.
@davidg8089 Hmmm... are you sure? Last time I checked freemasonry associates itself with many references to the serpent, for example Knight of The Brazen Serpent which is in The Scottish Rite on the 25th degree, numerous masonic artifacts including ritualistic swords that have the head of a serpent on the handle, all which refer to none else than lucifer, or what you may refer to as "Jahbulon", a name which is often denied, but one you know of all to well.
@DoomWizard543 More nebulous nonsence the A&AR is inferior to a Craft Lodge and subservient to the Grand Lodge of whatever Country or state you are in.
The mystery of Freemasonry is, how has it survived in a world that is hell bent on destroying everything good in it?
Today people are not looking for light but rather darkness,
1Jn 2:9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
1Jn 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

New age teachings, freemasonry, rectangular doors - Atlantean death sciences, lead to fall, but not for all of course.

I understand that a small amount of Masonic Ritualism involves thick Ceremonial Magik. Even in different methods, their practices are still the same.

great one..its just sad that the ones which should watch this waste their time watching conspiracy stuff

cool. It is nice to see a program that wasn't trying to have a "conspiracy theorist" biased opinion about masonry like so many others.
