i live about an hour or so north of philly and where i live is basically next to no unique abandoned house. i only can count maybe a handful of houses, and a handful of factories/bigger buildings.

To me, abandoned houses are the TRUE haunted houses. To see furniture still sitting in the rooms, as if the past memories are still using them to rest upon. It is eerie in its own sense. Nothing scary about it at all. Just makes a person stand there, stare, and use their own imaginations to who used to inhabit them. Thanks for posting. Great job!

If anyone lives in md. Glen dale hospital off route 450 in Glen Dale obviously is a nice abandonded building(well buildings there are about 20 on the property).Its supposed to be haunted and many people have done projects there. Careful of the full- time cops on the premises. Its about 5-10 minutes off the beltway heading 450- east.

Good for you for not revealing the exact location. The guy at the abandoned-places dot website quit giving out locations to the places he visits a long time ago due to people trashing them and all.

A lot of these houses are in bad enough shape as it is. Those last few ones make me hope y'all don't inhale asbestos or anything!
