Is that a young Brigid in the second slide? And is that the late Flora in the fourth? Can't say I recognise anyone else at all, are they from the very early stuff and then the last few series? I mainly watched between abt 92 and abt 2000 I think. Achille arriving and Geoff's death was the beginning of the end really.

At least people realised being gay was not wrong and more common than people think! Shame the series had to end. Brett & Grant Adams are now in Velvet Stone - a rock group. We all know what happend to PJ&Duncan after their Grove Matrix single, they were very lucky as they met on set through their love of football !

How I used to love this show and had such a mega crush on Leah, the one who used to be in Psychandrics. I agree, BG went shit in its later years, following a similar path to Power Rangers. The early episodes of BG and the first three seasons of Mighty Morphin Rangers (b4 Kimberly left) had a special place in my childhood. I always felt that Byker Grove was like Angel Grove without the heroes in spandex. Now I can just imagine Leah as the Pink Ranger mmmmm :-D

I was lucky enough to appear in an episode of Byker Grove when I was 17. I always loved the show and couldn't believe my luck when I was told I could be in it. I had a brilliant 2 days up at The Mitre and met load of the cast and they were lovely, the person I spent most time with was Joanne Mackintosh (Brigid) and she was such a lovely person, I always remember her wishing me luck before the scene I was in.
