you have to examine the roads man ive turned down plenty of dirt roads and not fallen,you have to look out for the smallest things even sand and debre on pavement.
i'd normally say in this situation you always have to be cautious when riding in areas you don't know very we'll but it sounds like you know what your doing. Sometimes we all just get slammed with bad luck.

How you like that 250r? I think maybe I will get one for this summer. I haven't owned a bike before, so I figure I will start at the 250. Are you happy with...or were you when you got it anyway?? Was it your first bike? I'm not too concerned about people telling me it's to small and whatnot...just want to get something good to learn on that I wont be tempted to do anything stupid on.
@moejoe987654321 I see your point, but do dirtbikes not have completely different tire sizes and treads, suspension, weight differences and center of gravity differences? Dirtbikes could be a useful tool to learn basic riding, but after that I would say sport and dirt take two different trails. Thanks for the comment.

Most dirtbikes are not made of abs plastic and sensitive pretty clearcoated fiberglass. That's why I was mad I suppose; but I'd be used to falling on gravel if I had the pleasure of owning a dirtbike. What is a relatively cheap, good dirtbike to start on?

In the end all I did was convert my turn signals to flushmounts, took off the ninja stickers and rattlecaned it flat black after sanding down most of the scratches. Still a couple cracks, but it really looks fine now- thanks for asking!
