St. Anger wasn't an attempt to sell out, if it was the songs would have been alot more radio friendly and they wouldn't have used the vocals that had problems on the album. I have never in my life heard a St. Anger song on the radio.

Look, the facts are this: Metallica sold out completely, whereas Megadeth's latest album is still in the same vein as their early stuff. Granted its not as good as Rust in Peace or Killing is My Business (at least IMO), but there are still cool riffs and some pretty nice solos as well...have you listened to St. Anger? FRANTIC TICK TICK TICK TICK TOCK...wow. Its like ADD...without solos.
Abacacus you fag Mustaine was the first vocalist/songwriter for Metallica, its because of Mustaine that metallica really came out with any albums in the beggining really so yeah..Mr.Hetfield sorta had the same vocals on Kill'em all with Mr.Mustaine vocals in Megadeth...
My personal opinion is that Marty Friedman owns Kirk Hammett up the a$$ (except for maybe the One and Master of Puppets solos, which are great)...but both bands have their good points. Why not just enjoy both?
I kinda agree, What i wanna say tho is, Hammett overuses his Wah-Wah. They few solos that James has done i really really like. Hearing thet metallica is making a new album with solos is cool but not cool. Dunno thats just what i think

About the Metallica and Megadeth thing. All of the songs on Hidden Treasures were made by other artists or by Megadeth back when Chris Poland was with them. They kinda re-did the guitar solos with Marty and released the album in 1995. So, the lyrics were written before Enter Sandman. Megadeth didn't copy Metallica, Metallica didn't copy Megadeth (unless they spied on them practicing with Chris Poland.) But Megadeth thought of putting the prayer in a song first.
my friend says that everytime i put the son on, but ya, its a prayer and metallica doesnt have any copyright on it or nothin, personally i wouldnt have used it cuz its to similiar, but it doesnt downplay the song or nothin, this is an amazing song. mustaine is godly
