  • There are two things I find striking about the two swings. The first is how far Jones brings his left foot off the ground on the back swing, and how far past parallel he goes (you'd be laughed off the course if you tried that today!). And yet he was somehow able to square his club at impact.

The second and equally remarkable thing is how similar the two golfers look through the impact zone and the follow through. They're able to transfer all that power with a square club face to hit great golf

  • Bobby jones is back? Not tiger woods ? who?

  • Tiger woods swing and Bobby Jones Swing. The reason for this short video is to show Five position of a golf swing that I believe are the fundamental part of the golf swing all other position I believe are more about personal style. Position 1 The Addres Positon ( Aligment, Aim Etc) - 2 Lag (Power) - 3 Lag (More Power) not swing harder - 4 Impact Zone (the holy grail of golf) - 5 Lollow Through (like any other sport Basketball Etc.). Welcome any Comments.

  • @aryshome Nice vid. Although I do not agree with you as those items being "fundamental"...particularly address & alignment. No two great players address nor align exactly the same. Some are slightly closed (Snead), some are way open (Trevino, Couples). Yes, they all have to aim and stand at the ball...but the differences vary greatly...even distance from the ball is incredibly varied from pro to pro. For something to be truly "fundamental"..every one HAS to do it to be great. Thx

  • @aryshome oh...yes all great players have lag....but thats more of a result. In my humble opinion there is only one true fundamental in every great swing...that is...the head moves AWAY from the target on the down swing....you will not find ANYONE (who's great) move their head towards the ball while approaching impact. Just about everything else is up for grabs, swing plane, grip, stance, alignment, posture, etc. Fun to watch all the greats though...thanks again for the vid.
