Jareth is too old for Sarah! =) David Bowie was probably about 36 or 37 during the time of the filming and Sarah (Jennifer) was only 14. But she was absolutely beautiful. And in a documentary even David Bowie said the same thing. They both loved dancing together. It was wonderfully sweet.

But the funny thing is when I was a kid, I certainly didn't lust after Jareth! he and his goblins terrified me so much that I didn't even dare to rewatch it! So it's great that as an adult I've overcome my fears! So my verdict: I don't care about goblins or Jareth, I'll do anything to get out of the suffering of working life.

There are so many people that want Sarah and Jareth to hook up and about as many (women I think) who wants JAreth to dump Sarah and take them!!! They have done a kind of sequel; its called Return To Labyrinth, but its a manga (graphic novel) book rather than a film. I'm going to read it when it finally gets delivered to my house, but it is assumed that Jareth did fall in love with her. I think. XD

As much as we all wanna see Sarah and Jareth get together, the fact is, it's all a part of her imagination. The Labyrinth and all the characters are made up in her head, and her rejection of his love for her represents her unwillingness to grow up and become a woman. Awesome video though, I loved it.

Sarah can´t do something because she doesn´t notice it. In my opinion, it is more beautiful because Labyrinth is not the typical history about a girl who turns down a boy, Sarah turns down Jareth because she doesn´t understand what love is.
