  • ΚΑΛΑ ΣΤΕΦΑΝΑ (ΣΤΗΝ ΚΗΔΕΙΑ ΣΑΣ)

  • A number of geriatric and ignorant DeGrecia strays, felt uncomfortable with some users' reference about Prince Philip's statements during his BBC interview in June 2011, where he states clearly that he is not a Greek or even English but a member of the Danish race. As a result, they spammed all comments that make reference to what this 90 year old member of the Danish Glücksburg family said.

Spamming the Truth speaks volumes about the DeGrecia half cast posterior kissers and master lovers.

  • lykauges, you really are a horrible and simple person arent you?

  • @iliasofjohn - Re: "lykauges, you really are a horrible and simple person arent you?"

Nothing looks simple when posted in the same forum with your idiotic comments! You are so desperate for masters (preferably in uniform) that you forget to argue your point, and limit your comments to personal abuse - an activity with which you appear too feel quite comfortable as a result of the time you devoted towards abusing yourself.

  • @erikabraun What are you bumbling about? What masters, what uniform. I was commenting on how rude you are, that is my point. I aslo see you are a fool to understand a one sentence post. Abusing myself?? Are you drunk or stone?

  • @erikabraun What are you bumbling about? What masters, what uniform. I was commenting on how rude you are, that is my point. I aslo see you are a fool to understand a one sentence post. Abusing myself?? Are you drunk or stoned?

  • @iliasofjohn Yes, it seems that 90% of the Greek electorate are drunk or stoned because they find monarchy to be an evil institution. The Americans who kicked out the representatives of George III in the 18th century must also be under some influence - also Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Portugal, and so on ...

And you are the only one who is sober - the one who "knows best" what is good for us, like Stalin, Pinochet, Hitler, the clowns of the Greek junta, Gadddafi etc

  • Another dictator is running for his life this morning, of 22 August 2011, while most of his hideous family are being rounded up. Libya will be a democracy soon. Dictatorships are destined to fall. Dictators are destined to be brought to justice in the end. The Danish dictators of Greece did not want to accept that. Only a few hours ago Gaddafi declared to the foreign media that "his people" loved him; but "his people" are cheering the democracy fighters who entered Tripoli this morning.

  • @euridike88 Your reference to the Duke of Edinburgh's denial of any suggestion of "Greekness", on the BBC in June 2011, made the handful of DeGrecia posterior kissers feel so uncomfortable that they spammed your comment. So whether poor Prince Philip likes it or not, according to them, "Greek" he must be - otherwise the DeGrecia man can not be a "Greek" either.

  • @Rotebuehl1 Re: "... complexes are stubborn"

We all agree, I'm sure! And you are the best example to back this statement.

  • @Rotebuehl1 Your question as to whether George Glücksburg was the one who "forced" Britain to give the Ionian islands to Greece, is ofcourse academic. However, the answer is: no. He was hardly in a position to "force" or make demands on Britain - the country which was instrumental in putting him where he found himself. Also, your "give back" wording is rather inaccurate because to give back suggests a previous ownership.

Finally Britain's indulgent gestures were not without alterior motives.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rotebuehl1 - Your reference to George I:

He might have been full of good intentions; but there were very strong early indications that he put his family before Greece. You could look up an incident during Trikoupis' government, where he defended his son's interference with government affairs after Constantine ordered the gendarmerie to open fire on a group of workers, demonstrating for fairer conditions, killing a number of them. Trikoupis protested and George dismissed his government.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rotebuehl1 As you'll be seeking more historical information in connection with this family, you might as well look up the origins of Constantine I's antipathy for Venizelos, which at times overshadowed Greek national interests as in the case of the Asia Minor fiasco.

  • @epameinondas13 Similar personal antipathies proved disastrous in the UK too. The personal antipathy of Anthony Eden for Egypt's Nasser was the cause of the Suez Canal Crisis in the 1950s resulting to the death of many people and Eden's resignation.

Constantine's dislike for Venizelos can go back to the time when the former was sent to Crete during the transitory stage after the Ottomans were forced to withdraw from the island.

Our country has been a playing for the miserable Glücksburgs.

  • @Rotebuehl1 - Re: "... the people adore him ...":

Surely, after Trikoupis' criticism in his thesis, "Who is to blame?", where he questions George's authority and legality of his right to appoint his own unelected ministers, he couldn't have been adored much. He locked Trikoupis, a citizen elected to hold a political office, in prison just for exercising his right to free speech. The result was that Trikoupis' popularity was increased marginally and was elected as a Prime Minister.

  • @Rotebuehl1 Re: "foreigners":

Those who raise the issue of this family’s foreign origins are infact doing a disservice to their cause. In Greek Parliament there have always been members whose ethnic origins are not Greek. However, their ancestors came to Greece not as “ready-to-take-over” figures, but as prospective citizens of the Greek state willing to adopt our social values, and work their way democratically towards a political office to which they were elected purely on merit by equals.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rotebuehl1 Some of them, most certainly do not! Others may have merits galore. They may be good parents who love to grow begonias and are kind to animals; they may even be able to cook a mean omelet with truffles; they may be nuclear physicists or cosmologists, able to predict the position of a star ten million years from now. Leopold II might have been full of merits. But what good was it to the Congolese whose childre were amputated by his mercenaris in order to encourage them to work harder?

  • @Rotebuehl1 What good to the people of Greece the merits of Otto who considered the elimination of the heroes of the 1821 Revolution a priority? What good to the Resistance fighters in occupied Greece if Frederika had a soft spot for gardenias, when after the liberation they were taken to special facilities, modeled on similar structures in her native country, on desert islands and tortured in the most hideous way? Could it be that such details escaped the woman who was running the regime?

  • @Rotebuehl1 Your statement: "anti"- or non-royalists sneak into royalist pages:_

There are no royalist or antiroyalist forums on YouTube. This is a democratic facility conceived by the leading democracy. It is not to be used for propaganda or advertising purposes.

We may prefer dogs to cats but this doesn't mean that we should block our mind from any information about the life of cats.

What's more, one doesn't have to be an antiroyalist in order to disapprove of the hideous Glücksburg clan.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rotebuehl1 There are also democrats without democracy; or democrats who were denied democracy as a result of this family's interference in Greek affairs.

There are people who never suffered from cancer, however they spend hours daily in the lab observing cancer cells.

Most people would be put off their meal if the name of Leopold II is mentioned at the table, but they would still watch documentaries about his excesses.

The same with Stalin, Pinoche, Peron, or the clowns of the Greek junta.

  • Your comments are offensive and about as ignorant as saying that 'all black people are criminals' I suppose you probably cant help being thick but just make sure that you research into whether your brash opinion is in fact valid before you go broadcasting your stupidity to the rest of the globe.

  • But Greece should never have even joined the Euro and it was an accident waiting to happen.

I think its all too easy to assume that because a country is experiencing a recession it MUST be because it contains 'lazy ass' people but its forgotten that the citizens are the ones who get caught up in the political crossfire, redundancies, pay cuts and freezes on pensions all add to the problem, but did they have a choice in whatever the European and Greek government wanted? I think not.

  • @JiminPalmSprings I read your comment and just had to enlighten you to some facts as you are obviously ridiculously demented. The greek citizens are not to blame for this they are victims in this situation. Goldman Sachs were the ones who agreed to give the government help with their entry requirements into the eurozone waaaaaay back in 2001 - it was made easier for Greece to get in due to the fact that they didn't want it to fall back into the hands of a military dictatorship....

  • When will Gay people be able to marry? It is so sad day that gay people cannot marry the ones they love. Liberty and freedom for all people!

  • @jjgreek1 - As you are keen on gays perhaps you would care to look up the activities of the young Paul Glücksburg, long before he got married to the exiled kaiser's granddaughter. The other party belonged to the set of Christopher Isherwood - on whose Berlin Stories the film Cabaret is based. He was a handsome and notorious male gigolo.

Anyhow, what difference does it make? Can't they just live together? I think that in the EU they can get married.

  • @jjgreek1 - Re: Dagmar's comment: She means the notorious Denham Fouts who was Paul's lover for a period!

    Malakes

  • There is no Greek royal family, these people need to give up the ghost!!! The Monarchy is dead!! It's kinda pathetic that they insist on keeping their meaningless titles! If the people of Greece wanted to maintain/restore the monarchy, it would have happened by now!! If you don't have the people, you have nothing!! No monarchy can survive or be considered legit without the love of its people!! The people of Greece obviously aren't that fond of these posers!!

  • Well said.

  • very good

  • Was it for the wedding of this one of his daughters that the expences were paid by the HELLO magazine?

Poor man he is down to his last 180 million £s they say!

  • @lykauges I definetly prefer HELLO magazine to pay for this circus than the greek people...

Why does the Greek republic allow those people to run around with titles like King, Princess and Prince of Greece. Put those parasitic gang to court for misusing titles and abusing the name of Greece.

  • @green971 Most certaily!

  • @green971 - @"Why does the Greek republic allow those people to run around with titles"

We do not mind whatever he chooses to call himself, as long as he does not interfere in our country's affairs. At the time of my 3rd great-grandfather, there was an American woman who came to live in Athens calling herself Sophie de Marbois-Lebrun Duchess of Plaisance. Because she was giving away money for good causes, she thought that we should change our Prime Minister who happened to be assassinated.

  • @KURarEp - He obviously cares enough not to abdicade inspite of the humiliation under which he put himself and his family. It is pathetic to see a geriatric, well into his 70s, clowning around and referring to himself as "the king of the Hellenes". At the time his father died, Greece was the only European state with political prisoners held in concentration camps on the islands since the end of WW2.

During their visit in London, in 1963, the family were received with rotten eggs.

  • @Lyras71 Well said.

  • @Lyras71 I have an idea,,, The greeks get all upset about their ex-royals... how about getting excited about working? The lazy ass Greeks are some of the most corrupt!! No one works there.. but they all expect huge government subsidies.. huge paychecks... No wonder you people have an economy that is the joke of Europe... incredible debt... please bail us out.. we are greeks...we'll do a dance for you but don't expect us to work and make things people want to buy!! HAHA what a laugh

  • @JiminPalmSprings - Firstly, these people were not our royals. They were imposed on us - unlike the Americans who had royals who were their very own and still got rid of them.

Secondly, the present economic situation in Greece has nothing to do with throwing the Glücksburgs out of our country. Did the American Great Depression have anything to do with giving King George's governor his marching orders?

Don't call us - we'll call you should we need you - in the meantime keep your day job!

  • ins't a wedding but not royal. Constantino isn´t King................no live in Greece!!!!!! Whot is this???

  • Jame243 - @ ... what ending Greek names end? [sic]

All Greek names in the nominative case end in:

    This answers your question!

However, it was not on account of their name that they were despised. Even if they were Greek they would have been equally despised.

Their name became synonymous with intrigue, torture, murder and prison.

Today they are a laughingstock and impersonated by stand up comedians who do a better job than them in making the people laugh!

  • M4M - Significantly, comical Jimmy is Ἰακώβ!

  • Jame, you call everyone ignorant and you suggest that they should become better informed before posting ... etc.

Now: You obviously never went to school, your Greek is atrocious, and so is your English, while your ability to reason is inexistent. Yet, everybody is "ignorant" while you are "bright" and "knowledgeable". How did it happen? Did all this gold-mine of information you possess come in the form of voices? Do you have visions too?

  • Greeks? Really?

    Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg

    Does that sound Greek?

The only Greek Kings are Christ, and Konstantinos XI Palaiologos of Byzantium.

  • I agree! However, better have Paleologos checked up. You may be in for a surprise!

But why need kings at all anyway?

  • Right now, there is no need at all.

  • Jame - @ "They have a Greek Soul" (and

    other nonsense).

You are perpetually referring to others as "ignorant" because they are not as servile as you. However, as an admirer of this family, perhaps you ought to read Frederica's writings: "My sould was born in India" - referring to her geriatric hippy days in India with her guru Jagadguru Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal.

I agree with those who compared you with "comical Ali"! You are his counterpart in these forums:- comical Jimmy!

  • Hey Jim - You spoke of "Greek souls"!

    Do you recognise this below?

"While Greece is the country of my birth [which is actually rubbish], India is the country of my soul."

Indeed Frederica was as Greek as any member of Hitler's Youth, with three brothers in the Wehrmacht, Hitler's army!

And as Greek as any disciple of Agadguru Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Swamigal!

In other words as Greek as you and any Γιουσουφακίου αγά!

  • lol είναι =/= ἔχουν καὶ Ελληνοψυχοι; μή ἐστίν Ἑλληνικές ψυχές. The state of being Greek is of the flesh... The soul is beyond the realm of ethnicity or nationality. This neo-spiritual σκατά invented by hippies, wiccans, whatever pseudo-mystical religion is popping up in the western world, είναι πολύ αήδης.

  • @Cuosht86 Well said.

  • What royal wedding? Constantine is not a king and Alexia she is not a princess! Such titles are forbidden by the Greek constitution! So this is just a wedding like mine, yours etc.

  • Good for you! The Greek royal family was abolished - end of! They now have British passports. They are no longer royal nor are they recognised most importantly by the Greeks. Fact!

  • If the Greeks really wanted them, then they would be returned. The Greeks are never shy about voicing their opinions. Plus, on of them married into American billionaire money, and this woman has the cheek to try and call herself 'princess' Chantalle. Please - there is no dignity and NO recognition when it comes to the people who matter most - THE GREEKS!

  • Jame, what do you mean she does not call herself "princess". Any shopkeeper's daughter who is referred to as a "princess" or "duchess", whether married to a laughable former kingling's son or not, if she had any sense she could request not to be referred to as such.

  • Jame: @ They are always and remain Royal ......

Yes! As royal as Jean-Bédel Bokassa the "emperor of Central Africa", and Idi Amin, the "last king of Scotland".

Were you not the one who defended the collaboration between the Greek Orthodox Church and Hitler? Did you not call Hitler the defender of Christianity? Did you not call the EOKA and Greek Resistance fighters "criminals"?

Do you want to discuss Sigmud Freud now? I major in Ψ at Cambridge.

  • Mr James,

@ tanjataya, lykuages, OldAthenian why are you such bad people [sic]

    And what about me?

  • THANK YOU Afgsmith once more for the beaitiful Video of the Wedding of Princess Alexia and Carlos Morales!

They are such a lovely and happy family!

I am happy for Princess Alexia.

  • I like watching weddings on tv a lot also I like weddings of famous People.

  • yes but they are not famous in their own country anymore, ex king was a traitor he sell cyprus to the turks we hate him thats why we send him away

  • He was a scumbag, but technically he wasn't a traitor because he wasn't a Greek. He is Danish/German and partly Slavic. In any case their hideous role in our country's national tragedies makes them the greatest evil that ever fell on Greece. At least we managed to unite against the Ottomans. These halfcasts managed to divide the people in order to be able to lord it over us. Their ability to divide us was their greatest strength.

  • Yes, he is certainly as Greek as you are, Charlie - or perhaps like "Jame243" who "served in the Greek Airforce" but doesn't know what the grounded Air Force units in Greece are called.

  • ....And in crashes lykauges - Greece's very own Biggles!!

  • @tzanabetys Excellently put.

  • Not famous but NOTORIOUS! You can't call him a traitor however because he is not a Greek. The whole family were planted as "sleepers" in Greece by the UK/US in order to look after their interests. Cyprus was one of them. The US needed military bases on their own on the island. Britain could not pass Dhekelia and Akrotiri to them as it would be contrary to the Zurich Agreement of 1959. The Glücksburg puppet obliged by requesting the removal of the division placed there by Papandreou.

  • How gorgeous- nice to see the British royals attending this lovely wedding.Oh I do love beautiful weddings which look so wonderful like these- the world loves happy marriages blessed like this -it gives one hope that there is goodness in the world.
