know how else we can be ecological? not buying a stupid Prius.. Making the batteries alone for these cars is a very dirty business.. you're better off with a new clean diesel car..

Great video, informative and entertaining. I've seen other websites that say hypermilers can routinely get just over 70 mpg -- admittedly, riding alone without appliances on, no doubt. But most people drive alone anyway.
One correction however: CO2 is not responsible for childhood asthma. Ozone & other pollutants are. Nevertheless, CO2 is the most evil of all, because of global warming...
Actually you could put 40/38 psi with no problem on the stock tires. Some people actually put 44/42(Max) when it's cold out.
With 2 passengers, your Prius would be more stable in gusty winds with a higher tire pressure. Manufacture recommended tire pressure is only for Stock tires. When I switch to a different set of tires, the dynamics are totally differently. If you want better handling, efficiency, and longer tire life. You have to find the best tire pressure to match your driving style.
