I thought there is only one rock that floats in the air in jerusalem. In Islam that is a story of the time when Muhammad pbuh wanted to start his journey to the heaven (Isra' Mikraj), a big rock really floating, wanted to follow him but he told it not to. that was why the rock was stopped in the air. Later, a caliphate ordered for a mosque to be built surrounded it. The mosque is called the The Dome of Rock. You can still see the rock.
