  • haha I "fuckin love you for that" **hold breath** hahaha, but still, everyone makes mistakes

  • youurrrrrrreeeeeeeee!!! fiirrrrrreeeeeeeeee!!!!!

  • Lorne Michaels said it was an honest mistake and wouldn't affect her place there, but lo and behold she magically doesn't get her contract renewed after that season. Poor girl.

  • Wow, the look on her face was priceless.

  • It is beyond stupid there is no cussing on SNL. Boring.

  • i love how the audience gives a nervous laugh at what Kristen says after the slip..hahahaaa

  • hahahaha at 0:07 she realizes she slipped

  • Okay, so Slate says it, and it's no big deal. Charles Rocket said it and all Hell broke loose. Why was Slate able to get a free pass last year?

  • @retrorocker shes hot

  • @retrorocker shes hot. thats y

  • ah who cares. but her face hahah she was like fuck i said fuck

  • lol she looked soo worried after she said it... she's like " ah shit, I just fucked up now"..lol I am glad she didn't get fired or anything though, cause there was a guy on there a long time ago that did get fired for saying the F word.

  • whatever haha At the end she was just holding seth meyers worried

  • haha, yea I noticed that too. Luckily, she's been on and not doing too bad

  • stfu who cares if she said it. damnnnn. comprende?

  • I dont get it... Why is it such a big dealtht she sed the f word?

Sorry Im kinda new to snl

  • Because here in America, we don't allow excessive profanities on television because children watch TV.

    Stupid cunt.

  • unless you are a really crappy parent, your kids should be in bed, at the time SNL comes on TV

  • not neccesarly..

  • @Jewelsinthesnow unless like most parents on a saturday night it really wouldn't matter

  • @DeathMetal185

Hey noob, if your kid is watching snl, he should be in FUCKING bed!

  • You stood up for yourself, and i fuckin love you for that... ::morphs into blowfish::

  • There is some gap around 11:30pm that the FCC is not paying attention. Like mandatory break.

  • her face after she says that is really funny. her checks puff up and she gets a scared look on her face

  • i saw this and i was like. i think she just said the F word. LOL

  • Comment removed

  • I don't blame here for accidently saying it. I the real world, those two would have a mouth on them.

  • haha i like the face she maked

  • you mean made you retard

  • haha yea... so shut the fuck up

  • the show must go on, i guess

  • I like how right at 0:08 seconds she realizes what she said and puffs her cheeks, I could imagine how hard it would be to say frik that many times and not slip

  • I wonder if she got fired. It was he first how and she makes a mistake like that?

  • Lol I saw this happen live

  • Jenny Slate is hoot!

  • we in alaska did not see that because they edided it

  • they couldnt unless you guys didnt get it live. homos.

  • Actually the FCC killed LIVE tv after the Janet Jackson superbowl thing. There is now a mandatory delay in the feed. I don't remember how long, but it's like 15 secs or so. So NO ONE gets live tv anymore.

  • than how did I see it live, is Golden Valley special or what?

  • Then how in tha shit did the F*bomb slip on this SNL clip???

How did they just let this one fly if they had a chance to catch it on the live delay? Some dude was like " hey guys, I'm gonna let this one slip and maybe she'll get shit canned... HAHA "

  • ur just so knowledgable. Thanks for that falso info.

  • I'm sorry. If I gave a shit i'd write more, but

  • HA HA.

    Go stare at Russia

  • i like how after she says that, she like breathes out a lot, thinking "damnit, im gonna be fired." but instead, the show gets fined :D lolol

  • I didn't even know who Jenny Slate was until she said fuck on live tv. Good for her!

  • same here, i dont watch tv,

  • Like anyone hasn't heard the word fuck before.

  • She's keeping her job.

They are more worried about the fine.

    Lorne said so.

  • i like how her legs are spread out

  • it's funny how fast things show up on youtube.

  • I just posted this as a test to see how many people would look. I'm blown away. I just rewound with DVR and recorded it with my phone and posted. I barely heard it the first time. I don't think anyone truly cares.

  • Haha it's all good man :) I wasn't hating on you or anything

  • fuck is just another word that's gravity has been over inflated by the public. The fact that people get riled up over a single word just shows how much more they get involved with other frivolous complaints more than ones that actually matter. Meaning the ones that hurt more than just egos. If someone is going to complain about profanity being unsophisticated then what about the many shows airing that are almost explicitly about sex and drama? I.E Melrose Atleast she said it and isn't DOING it.

  • i saw that very skit but was zoned out on my laptop, god dammit thats the only part of the show i saw

  • disgrace... shows a lack of sophistication and quality, creative content.. when ratings go down, the profanity goes up... it's basically very unimaginative shock tactics...

  • how the FUCK is this political? People are making Obama comments. What does this have to do with Obama or politics? People are weird. Hey, if all of you watch a different station than fox news you might start hearing facts. Maybe you people can read from time to time instead of just watching television.

  • You sir, are brilliant.

  • Seconded

  • Don't they play this show at midnight? So who fucking cares if she used the fuck word? It's not like little kids are up that late at night watching adult programming.... am I right?!

  • SO this is shocking? and not the d*ck in the box song?

  • wow its not like ppl don't here that shit every day

  • its not that though, its funny because they are going to get pounded by the FCC, shes probably going to get fired. and also they couldn't bleep it out with the 45 second delay.

  • lol love the Obama Joke I have to agre Obama is a Fail!

  • the point is it was her first apperance on as a new cast member and she said fuckin....but who cares

  • Who the fuck swears like that? Shame on her!

    Oh wait...

  • WTF who cares

  • only 500 grand in fcc fines. no big deal lol lol lol.

  • lol i was watching it and i was shocked!

  • its about the MUSIC and the CLOTHES! Protect them always :-)

  • ...fuck...

  • OMG... WOW.. SHE SAID F ON LATE NIGHT VULGAR TELEVISION SHOW..

Think of all the KIDS, AND ALL THE tainted christians..

    How could she... that monster!!@!@@!!@!@

  • omg she said fuck she is like the other 7 billion people on this planet

  • it looked like an honest mistake. i mean, i don't think she planned on saying it, it just sorta slipped out. anyway, i didn't think it was a great skit and then when i heard it, i just turned to my friend with a look of bewilderment and said, "holy crap, did she just say fuck?!"

  • I think that it' s fnyeb and fnbty.

  • I knew it! haha! The skit wasn't really that great so I wasn't paying attention, but when she said fuck I was like "Wait. What she just say? Holy fuck! Did she say 'fuck?'" Thanks for posting this up.

  • no class, same goes for NBC which apparently doesn't think it is a problem to say F on screen. Yes, saying F on screen is okay, but saying the name of Jesus will make you a right wing fanatic, really fair...

Yes, it is not sesame street, but you are still not allowed to say F or sob on screen.

  • Boo hoo. Go cry to your mother. It's ridiculous that you people get so upset over profanity.

  • if people are not upset over profanity anymore, why did the Dems and liberals went crazy for Joe Wilson's "you lie"?

  • ....um.....apples and oranges?

  • not really

both are "profanity", just that the F is is real profanity for nothing, another one is the truth presents under a not so good behavior, and "you lie" is definitely not the same as F or sob or sh*t.

  • ha ha ha! But it's no big deal. She made a mistake, the skit was still frikkin hilarious.

  • lol the face she makes is so hiilarious!. ...hahahaha

  • I seriously hope they fire her not

  • this suit is black not

  • i like sex...it's nice

  • OMG just shoot her now!!! who fuckin cares little kids shouldnt watch that show anyway.

  • its not that there scared about saying something bad its just that it was live and on a basic channel and not like comedy central

  • I hope people wake up and stop worrying about this shit! EVERYONE uses "fuck" everyday,

  • whoopteee fucken dooo, she said the f word, It's not like this is a sesame street show

  • Yeah, but it is live tv, and if you say it, you get fined. Big. So, yes. it is a big deal.

  • haha

  • See, I would have never have known she said the F word because I don't watch the show anymore. So, by the media shuving this into everyones face so everyone is going to have an opinion about it. Who cares? Go worry about that rapping murderer that lives down the street from the school.

  • response to scottieman2:

    lol i hate those rappers

  • lol Who doesn't? Should key their cars. lol.

  • You know what? The character she is doing seems like she would use the F word. Let it go, plus I thought that the show was on a delay incase they used the bad words.

  • Oh jesus she said fuck, now all the children who watched this are gonna be using vulgar language and using drugs and having unprotected sex.... lol

  • @ITS420PAT ....i would

  • @ITS420PAT hahahaha

  • die

  • And the Christian conservative movement goes apeshit!

  • I wonder if you can say "vuck", which sounds almost exactly like the F word, and get away with it.

  • Hahaha man, I laughed so hard at that, because it's actually a really good question!

    Or an excuse.

"Michael, did you say the f-word?"

    "No, I said vuck"

  • SNL has always been the kiss of death for female comedians and in recent years has been the same for most of their male counterparts.

  • Comment removed

  • How much you want to bet FCC finally gets to make Saturday Night Live have a tape delay which will be the final nail in the shows coffin. Then it will just be Saturday Night Show

  • I remember in the old days of SNL the skits in the last half hour ran out of steam. Now the whole show runs out of steam. I can't remember the last time this show was funny. Even the Sarah Palin jokes were boring and overrated. The only reason people like it was because Tina Fey looks like her. It would be like praising Joe Piscopo for spoofing Lou Reed.

  • I'M ON A MOTHERFUCKIN' BOAT!

  • mountains outta molehills, i was watching this last night and i didnt even knowtice,,and its on snl and it was one of the last sketchs..no one who hasnt heard the f word was watching

  • Agree

  • Who cares? More people are seeing it for the first and only time here than will tune into SNL ever.

  • fake

  • this sketch sucked hard

  • Big deal if the girl said Fu*k on live television, especially on SNL. Yeah maybe SNL is not as good as to how it was in the mid 90s but I dont understand how the press & media could make such a big deal on a stupid issue like this."OMG she just said the F Bomb, she should be fired"..Big Deal! It was an accident & a mistake. Move on. Its entertainment. Every one behind the scenes in entertainment (Producers, Agents, Actors, ETC) curse almost every other word anyways. I see this sh*it all the time

  • With no traffic tickets, people would always speed

  • some people

  • I heard this live. The entire sketch was garbage. But I still can't believe that she's here and Casey Wilson is not.

  • Hopefully, Casey is smiling from ear-to-ear. :)

  • I didn't notice the slip, but I wouldn't notice if someone said fuck on tv. HBO and Showtime.

  • SNL has blown since Will Ferrel left and that was like 8 years ago.

  • It's sucked longer than that. I think Phil Hartman was the turning point. Same with the Simpsons.

    Just my opinion though.

  • Wait, it wasn't Joe Piscopo, I forget. It was sometime in the 80's.

  • I had no idea that Abby Elliot is Chris Elliot's daughter. Anyway, I just say kudos that she continued the skit without fucking up, or looking nervous for that matter, and Wiig was professional about it too. I thought Joe Piscopo was the last guy to say fuck on-air, didnt know Macdonald dropped the f-bomb too. Anyway, there's no reason to hate this girl yet, she's been in pretty much just one skit so far.

  • This is hilarious. I was watchin it when it happened, and I really couldn't believe what I'd heard. Serves em right fer doin a dumbass skit. They should've seen it comin

  • LOLAMERICA

  • you could tell she knew she said something wrong haha

  • i think snl fucked up letting the other girl, or girls go after last season. the show i think has some weak writing currently. they've had this happen in the past. there's all kind of politics going on deciding who to showcase. the cast has been better. let's see some more shows to see if there 's any development. if not, there'll be new faces next season, if there is a next season

  • SNL hasn't been viable or entertaining in years - F Bomb away - no one's going to see it

  • Whats the big deal? It was one slip-up. Everyone is saying she sucks when shes only done 1 skit

  • That skit was LAME anyway, the new girl isn't funny and I don't see why they fired Michaela Watkins

At least we would've had a Today Show skit instead of this misery.

Hell they could have even kept Casey Wilson and the Cougar Den sketch!

The only reason they kept Abby is because she's an SNL alum's spawn although she didn't do shit last season except a funny Angelina. Michaela did more than she did and was HILARIOUS.

This is just karma for Lorne Michaels.

  • i don't see whats the big deal, she fucking loved her for that.

  • oooh the poor childrens ears are now corrupted forever and ever.

  • Why is this a big deal? Why do Americans expect the TV to raise their kids? TV is for entertainment. If your kids are too young to hear 'FUCK', they probably should be in bed by the time SNL is on.

  • I was watching this last nite when it happened. The skit wasn't even that funny besides that part. You knew it was gonna happen.

Misterx37, that was one of thee best skits on last night. "ok here's how you do the jabberwocky...... wocky....wocky..."

  • I agree with all of you. The 'fuck' part was the only thing worth watching in this entire skit anyway. Most of the skits last night were kind of mediocre.

However, I was in tears at "You gotta....dip the ladle.....dip the ladle...."

  • Way to screw up on your first show. But in her defense, when you're doing a sketch which already has you saying "frickin'" or "friggin'" about every 2.3 seconds, a mistake like that is just inevitable. The same thing happened on SNL to Paul Schaffer around 1980. Besides, the sketch wasn't even funny to begin with. And props to both her and Kristin Wiig for being professional enough to literally not miss a beat afterwards.

  • They edited this for the West Coast; she says "frickin" on this part.

  • probably from dress rehearsal

  • luckyclover yes that was her first skit...might be her last (though i doubt it). people keep pointing out that the show is live and that's why it wasn't edited, but I'm wondering why the show isn't on delay? They easily could have bleeped it if they utilized the 7 second delay that sports use. Now that I think about it we wouldn't have all those live news anchor slipups if there was a delay. Anyway it was pretty crazy to see live, I couldn't believe it.

  • She actually recovered very well. The second she was back on camera, she just kept on with the skit.

  • I saw this yesterday, I kept rewinding with my DVR to see if she really did say it.

    Anyways, that sketch sucked.

  • Oops she said it. Check out Queena Isadora in comedy, she's hot and can act .

  • i thought it was funny...

  • same here. i don't know why people are dissing

  • ok first of all the skit wasn't funny...that was actually the funniest moment.

and also she must have been so nervous isn't it her first skit?

  • Let's forget for a second about saying the f word and acknowledge that the scene isn't even funny to begin with.

  • LMAO so tru

  • she said the F word...and???

SNL just needs a 10 second delay to edit out such words.

  • remember its Saturday Night LIVE, so if an f bomb is dropped by accident they can't edit it out

  • Based on the first show this season, SNL might as well be cancelled. And stop showing freebasing of the tobacco drug on this or any other show. Smoking around others is ILLEGAL!

  • Poor girl. She was just nervous.

  • I tape it every week and that's NOT the first time some said "fuck"

  • seriously though, that skit was so painfully unfunny to sit through

  • Help Jenny keep her job! Go to DontFireJennySlate {dot} com and sign the petition

  • big deal. It was an obviously slip and you could the horror in her face.

  • Yea, I could the horror in her face.

  • Stopped watching after weekend update. Ah, that's the whole point of live tv!

Norm MacDonald swore several times before he was finally off the show. Still miss his weekend updates...

  • This was hilarious and Megan Fox was fucking hilarious hahaha

  • SNL is a load of dog shit fucking bastards

  • Dumb bitch trying to get fired after ONE WEEK ON THE SHOW when half of America can't get any job!

  • Hahaha. This sentence is insane.

  • Seriously? your reply states she is TRYING to get fired. Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what she was doing. She slipped, you dumb ass. It happens. You could see the expression in her face that she messed up. Trying to get fired, you are ignorant.

  • Sexist much?

  • How would you know, since you've never talked to a girl?

  • The last guy who said fuck on SNL (Charles Rocket) was fired almost immediately. Wow, I wonder if anyone else has been a featured cast member for exactly one sketch!

  • Actually the last guy who said fuck (that I can remember, at least) was Norm MacDonald and HE got fired shortly after as well.

He was hilarious and if this unfunny twat isn't fired then I'll be pissssed.

  • Only about 36 people actually saw this live. The show was so bad everyone pretty much turned off their TVs. But guaranteed this will have 1000 hits before it gets taken down.

  • Funny. I was watching the sketch live and was wondering how hard it must be not to accidentily slip up on live television. 2 seconds later I heard the F-bomb.

  • Oh, no!

Somebody said the word "fuckin". We're all gonna die!

Hopefully, the FCC will issue massive fines so that people up that late at night won't be exposed to such blatant, violent aggression. How many poor souls have no been exposed to that dreaded, horrible word?

    Oh, the humanity!

  • Probably not too much of an issue because not too many people probably ended up seeing it live anyway and just heard about it on the internet like I just did.

  • I hope Lorne doesn't let her go for this...

I didn't watch the episode so I dont know if shes funny or not, but hopefully she didnt blow her career on the first day!

  • Too bad she ruined her entire SNL career. Even if she goes on to be the next Gilda Radner, she will always be that one chick that dropped the f-bomb.

  • lol I didn't even notice this when i watched it live. it was just natural in the conversation. the only thing i remember was the funny face she made but i didn't even realize the slip.

  • JENNY, NOOO!! on her snl debut! poor thing. i hope she doesnt get shit for it. she's an amazing performer.

  • Thanks for posting this. I TiVO'ed it and it didn't take. I would have never been able to see this becuase they won't re-air this online.
