  • Rick's chord voicings on the verse 3:21 and on are just to die for....

  • Really breathtaking.

  • I like this composition and think it is beautiful! Thank you. What a gift!

  • the tempo should more fast a little bit... it;s too slow

  • Super rendition. I just played along with it for a few bars. It is being played in Gm. (Assuming my electronic tuner is still ok!) A jazzer's key. Sounds nice in Am too.

    Thanks for this post.

    regards

    MC

  • Beautiful so much.

  • Very Sweet guys!

  • it sounds like james bond

  • lost planet, it sounds like c minor

  • The initial vamp and key is G minor. However, the first chord of the actual prograession is Cm (Cm-F7-BbMaj7-etc...)

  • wow!!! its beautiful...so great

  • Thank you....

  • :D...

  • Beautiful!

  • Thank you

  • anyone know what key this is played in

  • Gm is the initial vamp and Key

  • Antonio Salieri upgrade.

  • This is marvelous.

But, just looking at the dude in the Pink shirt (with the gorgeous Hirade guitar) is making my back hurt. Someone, please get him a foot-stool.

  • Gosh, it is so beautiful, i love it, thanks.

  • Absolutely masterful, so fantastic this performance.

  • Absolutely gorgeous take on a beautiful classic.

  • Thanks for the beautiful comments..

  • Masterful playing. Awesome song.

  • Thank you so much for the kind words. Its been a while since I have checked on here and just want to say thanks for all the beautiful comments about the arrangement. THANKS TO ALL

  • Lovely piece of work (both arrangement and playing).

  • Oh My God! Fantastic! Arts...

  • Thank you Thank you

  • Very nice, a warm, heartfelt performance.

  • I like it man... makes me think about autumn leaves in a different context, amagine Your having a not so great time in autumn, this would be more fitting for you than if you were as happy as other versions... great work...

All the critics should end their comments with a link to their own video that shows what they mean. I like the mystery in it...

  • is shit sound like balada

  • sound a bit like the theme of james Bond ;)

  • bond theme coming from a typical minor cliché :)

  • sorry about spelling

  • I really got the thumbs done for this one folks but I stand by my comment 7moths gone by and not been out-thubed yet

  • I knew I shouldn't have worn pink. Darn. Oh well maybe next time. Rico is definately a much better player than me. It is however, my arrangement. If you haven't ever tried, arranging a standard that has been performed a zillion times before and coming up with something NEW is not an easy task. I appreciate your criticism.

  • WOW BIEN TOCA MAESTOS!!!

  • Beautifully done......

  • did they write its sheetmusic? o.o so cool

  • no... its a famous song

  • I didnt mean the theme itself ^^" I meant the arr for two guitars =p

  • ok. . . but theres not need to stick your tounge out at me!

  • no...read the video info.

  • Hum ! it kind of deteriorated in the end , you can see the guy in the white pants looking at the other guy as if to say ; hey ! it is my turn doing the solo, stop being so busy with the passing chords...

  • I like this. I heard the classical guitarist Milica Ilic do a quite beautiful version of Autumn leaves in concert. wish I could get a recording of it.

  • Excellent! The most relaxing 7 minutes and 20 seconds I've experienced all month. Music to be transported from the stress of everyday life by.

  • Very nice --but what's with the 007?

  • love this song so much!!! Eva Cassidy and her voice with this song it's almost heaven!!

  • very pretty

  • a beautiful piece of music played very well.....love it

  • Nice! The James Bond remix of Autumn Leaves!

  • Iate night junction on radio 3 play's this kinda stuff. I kinda like it ! ! !

  • Hrrmm... that kinda pertains to where you live.... lol i'm pretty sure 90% of the other people have no idea what radio station "late night junction on radio 3" is LOL.

  • That's an interesting point, what music do you like you tosser?

  • Maybe it's being promoted so that more will be made and people who like it are also provided for.

  • Cool, I quite like it. Theyre so talented!

  • Excellent guitar players.. but who are they?? is a extraordinary version of the sad song but played in that tempo it sounds great!!!!!!!

  • I enjoyed listening to it. Thanks for posting

  • Much better than I expected. Thank You

  • sounds like a sort of spanish version.

    not bad.

  • Really good video, thumbs up! =D

hey, could you please visit my channel, i've only been on youtube for just over a week now and I'd really like a few subscribers to get me going,

    thanks :-)

  • Such a pleasure to listen to :)

  • Dude, that's really slick. You guys are excellent. Any way I can get any mp3's?

  • Fantastic!!!

  • Thanks

  • Look at the audience at the end.

It's so sad that mainly the older generation listen to this music.

I wish more young people could enjoy this kind of music.

  • It was played in a small city of FLORIDA, and about half of the population there is over the age of 60 :(. Maybe the artists should promote themselves more among the young generations. I'm generation X and love this style.

  • Beautiful! Thanks for posting this! :)

  • OOOohhh!!! look at me. I'm so cool I don't haver to wear socks. My buddy is even cooler...he keeps his eyes shut

  • not that it means anything but when i read the comment i said "this is probably an american" and you where! lol... most of insults to people on youtube come from guys like you... that think that everyone else sucks cause their not like you

  • Yeah, well Jose Feliciano is an American...and blind...and he can put these two "wannabees" to pasture. I don't think everyone sucks...just these two yo yo's and you...

  • see? you insult me and you dont even know why lol... thats why theres so much racism in your country, some people just cant deal with the fact that people are different

  • well, can you play like them???

  • i can :D

  • Thanks for the post, Jeff. Really enjoyed the playing. It's a shame that every guitar video posted ends up in an argument about who is the best guitarist ever! I'll keep a look out for any new ones you post. I should really put one on myself but not got round to it yet!

  • seconded

  • Thanks

  • two words - Jimmy Page - wipes the floor with Crapton any day - Hendrix was almost as good but totally diffo styles - Page is one of the most melodic and groovy guitar players ever on electric or acoustic.

  • Page is amazing man. Love him almost as much as hendrix

  • woah thats beautiful. i love this song so much

  • Did the James Bond theme inspier ths partialy or vice versa?

  • yes, the bassline is really similiar

  • anyone else think this sounds slighly like the acoustic piece off of the wall called is there anybody out there ?

  • fantastic great phrasing and nice fills

  • so good. thank you.

  • Lovely! I am leaving for a cruise ( 1 month) between Australia and New Zealand in a few hours and this put me in the right mood. Thanks!

  • isnt it funny how no one cares about soulja boy being dead? haha ironic isnt it?

if you like rock music and tottaly random music please click on my profile and enjoy i like this song but its not the way i play on the piano keyboard please give me your feedback

    much obliged -that english guy

  • nice your good!i have a elctrick guitar

  • cool. im thirty now. cant believe it.

  • kind of like phish without the vocals, drums or piano

  • agreed it needs me on the piano lol

  • Oh my GOD, this is nice! I love the acoustics in the room. Very nice sounding!

    5 Stars

  • Both parts are marvellous. Great arrangement, great performance. Brill!

  • why wear a hat? it sticks to your eyebrows

  • Kinda resembles the james bond theme, could be used in a romantic montage ... really nice playing all round.

  • (not to say the video is bad in anyway)

i love how people think classical music is so extremely skilled and wonderful, but i have never seen a classical guitarist more skilled than a heavy metal guitarist.

i do love the genre, but i wish it wasn't so up its own ass.

  • You have to actually be able to read music to play classical music

  • im sure you aren't suggesting people like yngwie malmsteen or steve vai, or paul gilbert cant read music?

anyway just because you can read music doesn't mean you are skilled. i know plenty of people who are learning an instrument that can read music and have no where near the skill level of a some of the better metal guitarists who cant even read basic sheet music. its just a way of putting sounds into a translatable visual form.

  • heavy metal is more inspired by the different ages of classical music than most other genres, especially in the guitar solos and chord progressions, comparing things that people like michael angelo or marcel cohnan in comparison to something like chopin, they share very similar qualities

  • they do indeed, but i think that they take it one step further pushing the limits and raising the bar (skill wise) rather than contemporary classical composers that are still writing to suit works that are decades+ old.

the other extreme is composers like nono and Stockhausen

    that are extremely abstract.

  • I play rock, but your playing is awesome

  • Lovely piece. Ignore any of the negative comments, it is just kids.

  • Hendrix is the best guitarist ever. There is no debate.

  • Im sorry to say there is.. Hendrix although creating a great amount of new techniques and played them relatively well he did not master them now i don't mean to be negative Jimmi hendrix is one of my all time favs its just he ain't the best.

  • Very expressive and emotive. A very different version to what I am used to, but nevertheless a very good version. 5 stars.

  • absolutely no need for that face pulling

  • indeed,

their are different levels of "feeling the music" but that amount of face pulling is just embarrassing.

  • hmmm isnt the arpeggios used for a few tracks in final fantasy 7

  • There is no such quantity as time only development & regression however each one depends on a precursor event to our frame of reference..hence we only travel forward in "time". Unexpected outcomes are the result of quantum weirdness where the outcome can influence the precursor events hence travel both backwards and forwards in time. No information can be transmitted backwards in "time" due to our need to have a precursor event.

  • HUH?

  • This is in reponse to THE sennetor

  • I see you made your point backwards.. :P

  • not in this dimension

  • Yeah because - y'know: you're so hardcore and a total stoner...just like Hendrix.

  • really nice! and I agree chaosblade90, very reminiscent of JB in parts of the backing. really well felt and expressive. 5*

  • WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you fucking blasphemer. Seriously man. You know fuck all if you think he's shit.

  • To me, this is real talent, tightly played with interesting Jazz chords, i always found Jimmy's playing quite rough and sloppy.

  • yeah theres time for this and times for hendrix. Jimi's playing is slightly more rough round the edges then this because its rock and roll man. Hendrix could wipe the floor with these two anyday.

  • No way.I believe Hendrix was a sloppy player. with Little tallent. Yeah Hendrix could Harmonize but his playing was at most all slopp. anyone with Real Skill would recognise this point. But He sure did write some grate Music though. I guess Slopp is to harsh, Maybe Not Technical enough in comparison to these guys and the Likes of Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, or andres segovia.

  • Hendrix= legend. Ask anyone to name an electric guitarist the first name they'll say is Hendrix or Clapton somone like that not because they are the best, because they make you feel emotion, they're playing speaks to you. Fuck being technical man, you cold know all the scales in the world but if you can't play them in a emotive, inspiring way then you'll get nowhere.

  • That's very funny! haha.

You must know another Jimmy Hendrix???.

  • as i said before you know fuck all if you think he's shit.

  • No mate, that's my opinion, sounds like you know fuck all if you can't even appreciate talented musicians playing technical Jazz chords & scales - tightly.

Go and listen to some chart music or something.....pea brain!

  • at what point did i say that this was bad? look back through my comments you fucking twat. You know fuck all if you can't appriciate the immense playing of hendrix.

  • No need for all the foul language.

My point is I don't think Hendrix was that good & that's my opinion, maybe i haven't heard enough but you have no idea how much i know about music - we shouldn't even be talking about him as it doesn't relate to this video what so ever.

  • your so up your own arse man. how about for blurting things out the next time you look if you can back it up.

  • not look see..

  • God you're such a cock!

I'm not up my own arse, i meant - don't say i know fuck all if you don't even know me.

  • I dont believe Hendrix (or PAge for that matter) ever played

    Autumn Leaves.....

  • no, but he messed around with misty, harlem nocturne etc and he loved roland kirk and wes montgomery. its just not on record. i think both these guys and hendrix are amazing.

  • Ha ha ha ha.....!!

Don't get involved! Don't get involved!

    :)

  • That came out a bit wrong....it doesn't read how i meant it.I meant i might know "fuck all" or i might not???? but you don't know so don't judge Jimihendrix574.

  • Quite while your ahead ...

  • Rather reminiscent of McFly.

  • ...What are 11 or something?!! You FUCKING moron!!! "go listen to hendrix". Was that what the actually experienced musicians told you when you wrote gayass comments about shittass bands on their videos?

  • Idiot! This is GREAT jazz playing right here, asshole.

  • JAMES BOND LMAO

  • very beautiful, thanks so much for posting..:)

love both of the guitars-the melody is heard precisely, but at the same time the second guitar adds a gentle touch.

  • Thank you very much. Very nice comment. Makes it all worth while.

  • i could listen to you guys for ever! so relaxing! :D

congrats at being so awsome ! :)

  • Thank you very much for the beautiful comment. Enjoy.

  • Wasn't enamoured of the start but it gets really good towards the end :-) Very chilled out.

  • Sort like my playing. Takes some time to warm up. Ha. Thanks
