  • Thanque 4 your great video set 2 a great song, much power and light 2 U and Jen Scaturro!!

  • Sorry, this video was nothing special. Didn't really say anything.. and the Christain message at the end was lame. Yawners.

  • Good work!

  • hey, plucko...u have anger issues.

I'd have never seen this video if not for this...

now, as to God..did you ever think He might be talking to you too?

  • Pretty cool video! I love this song.

  • @hungryforblood

In America we have freedom of speech. That includes religion.

  • I like the song and I have to admit that I havent been to church in a long time. Very inspiring. I came across this song originally on Yahoo music and then thought I would do a search on youtube. I didnt realize that it was christian. Nice job.

  • WOW! Amazing video - very inspirational.

And don't worry about the people who claim "art abuse". Something must be wrong with them or I just stepped into the twilight zone. Then again, it is youtube. Don't be dismayed by these posters. O_O don't know why they're so all worked up about it. must have a lot of time on their hands lol

    Music is OPEN to interpretation.

/these words will fall on deaf ears i know it -_-

  • Thanks pluko for watching. I can calm you fears. I made this video probably close to 5 years ago. I made it for a class. I actually came across Jen when she sent me her cd because I was a christian DJ. I played it on my christian dance radio show. I liked the song and made a video for it. Jen has seen the video and liked it. She thought it was pretty original. She commented that she would like to see more of my work. So anyways I hope that calms your fears about theft.

  • @depechehero wow, I know this comment is really far behind but.. you know Jen? that's awesome. I really like her music, I had to really take my time in finding any of her music until you put this up. Just awesome!

  • @Plucko plucko spoke too soon. And he's probably the type of guy that goes around saying. Don't judge. thou shalt not judge. hahahaha

  • love this songg!

    great vid!

  • *Yawn*

  • What program did you use to do the ghost overlay? btw you are kind of hot

  • y do u cry ://

  • The message is great, but the words onscreen don't portray it well. We've all seen bible quotes, and some people are turned off by them. Plus, IMO you should have used a different font or different colors or something. I don't think it's "Art Abuse" because you didn't speak over the music. It's your video, you can put words where you want. :P

  • Great video! I love the song and the message is awesome. :-)

  • i really really like this vid...and the lady in the vid is pretty attractive to....is it you?

  • i love this song

  • I'm always on here watching this vid and this song. I've always loved the concept and the editing. Good choice of music as well.

  • <3 this song...

  • Thanks for stating your opinion in a good way. Im glad you kinda liked the video.

  • So you did it for college... Did you go to a private Christian college? That's what I did. And to all you folks who don't like the message: Would you have had the same negative response if she had quoted the Koran or Buddhist texts? Give me a break. Don't call it "religion" when you just don't like Jesus or what he stands for.

  • Yeh I did it for a college class at Marshall University but its not a Christian school. I got a really good grade on it and the prof shows it to every new class. It was a class on digital media. I find it funny that people bash it so much on here. Thanks for your defense and good comments. btw Im a he. lol

  • What I am complaining about is art abuse.

I would react the same if depeche used quotes from "stephen king" "the bible" or "baseball".

The artist Jen wrote lyrics & music. The artist depeche made a video that accompanied Jen's. This is acceptable, and depeche did well.

But depeche abused Jen by adding words in Jen's piece.

I feel you should write your own music and lyrics. Do not rewrite other artists work! Respect your artists!

  • Religious propoganda.

Also that dude that was jumping happily... You cannot honestly say that was a good shot or actor. Your resources must have been verrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy slim.

  • how on earth does that comment contribute? Get a life.

  • I kinda just played this for the music and not for the shitty video.

  • why'd you have to make it all religious and shit? this song is definatly not

  • The whole video is a metaphor for how my life was like before I followed Christ. I had no purpose and was like a dead person just walking with no meaning. When I become a Jesus follower it brought color and meaning to my life. I liked the music and thought that it went well with it. sorry you didn't like it. but thanks for watching.

  • I voted too early.

Good video, but why did you have to spoil it with that horrible text and ghastly message.

Don't mix good art (jen) with bad art (KJV).

  • Thanks for liking the video part. The video to me is a very autobiographical. It tells of my life before I become a Christ follower. I lived liked a ghost or zombie in a purposeless life. That changed when I became a Christ follower. I hope that will help you see it in a little different light. I also don't believe the verses are from KJV. Thanks for watching though.

  • Please make more videos, but as an artist be more aware 1)how you combine and 2)what you combine to create your message. You tell your story, using Jen's words as a complement. Nice. But then you 1)abruptly put in the words. It doesn't flow. If you started or ended with some text, your viewer would assimilate it better. 2)You state that you do not know what concordance you were using. What you wrote above is much more powerful than those passages. Tell that instead at the end or beginning.

  • @ccbbb23

i honestly thought the words fit...the only problem i had with it is i had to pause to finish reading the last ones...it was too short of a pause to be able to read the whole text...

but i'll go look at the videos you made and see what's what.

  • this is like the worst video. this song is amazing and definitely one of the best dance/ electronic songs out there. It, hands down, deserves a better music video than this crap.

  • I agree it is a good song. Sorry you didnt like the video.

  • The woman in the video was really attractive, one that would gain the initial attention if it was led in the right direction. The attempt at making it a religious cheapened everything though. The acting on the guy's part was terrible that it all fell through. Great song, terrible video.

  • You read my mind.

  • What ashame that I cannot find this song anywhere and it's such a good song!

  • The artist that created this song is called 'I am jen'. She has a website by that name. I hope that helps.

  • And you can actually download this song for free. :)

  • where? i have wanted it for ages

  • ok well she changed her website. I don't think you can download it for free anymore.. too bad

  • Awesome video! Make more!

  • thanks i will.

  • ive watched this nonstop for a whole day...

  • this video sorta reminds me of the karaoke videos for American songs that you find in third world countries like China or Kyrgyzstan....I keep waiting for the Russian subtitles to roll

  • Exactly.

  • cheesy?

  • that girl is not jen =(

  • this is cool! and the video suits... brings back Michael Andrews :)

  • Great job! This is a very good idea for such a creative and interesting song.

  • sounds like NIN tool and amy lee colaborated sounds like something from the 80's i love it where can i get the ep

  • beatiful song!!! i listened this song in the 4 season of the o.c.!!

  • So did I!

  • awesome! can u please tell me where u got the music?

  • her user name on myspace is "iamjen"

  • GREAT MAN!

  • In like the concept. Did you pull down the opacity to ghost the people and cars?

  • I've done it before. It's quite simple. All you do is get a still shot of a background and then get video of that EXACT same shot and just lower the opacity depending on how "ghostly" you want them. If the two background arent lined up exactly the shot will not come out right. not sure if i explained that right. good luck.

  • yeah i get it

  • Great idea! Wow. I love it.
