No, as V said in the video, Rai-Oh cannot stop card effects which special summon another monster. Those effects that special summon a monster are called "Special Summons that Start a Chain". Rai-Oh can only negate "Inherent Summons" which are monsters that can special summon themselves like Cyber Dragon, Dark Armed Dragon, JD, etc.

My guess is no since Black Rose has to hit the field first, then activate it's effect when its summoned onto the field, if it was tributed, then yes you can, but because it blows up the field including itself, you can't.

yes it can slow it down, not kill it completely because rai-oh negates ONE summon. So if your synchro summoning, rai-oh can tribute itself to negate, but if your referring to dark world special summons, then no, because they start a chain.

hey guys, nice video again, but i felt this was a little less - informative..its just giving examples and rulings. By knowing these, a duelist wont get better, they will just know more about the cards and how they are played. What you can do, is what ive been trying to do for a long time now is, to make videos of hands and how to play them properly, teach people about hand advantage, field advantage, etc etc. I believe this would be more informative for the more inexperienced duelists. I taped this segment twice, and the first time I mentioned the Skill Drain thing. However, I think that I'm doing one for skill drain in the future, and thought it would be better to include cards such as Rai-Oh and Stardust in that one.

Yeah battle phase will be very long and involved because there's so much going on during the damage step. I'll also have to explain Honest vs. Kalut in that, but that will probably be the easiest thing to explain lol.
