it was pretty good! i personally do not like too many effects, because i feel that it's sort of cheating to go to the music, but overall, i'd give it a 4/5. try using less effects next time! it's pretty fun to try and match up the scenes to certain music.

... The "story" behind the AMV becomes more intriguing. With that, the overall plotline presentation from the beginning to the end of "Kira", combined with the explosive use of mind-raping effects, I cannot even begin to describe how incredible this video is. All I can really say is that you did an amazing job with this, even if it was only a minute long. It was certainly enough to leave an impact and I certainly want to see more from you, so I shall subscribe. ^^
... and I did not want to sound as if I was just blatantly ranting about how EXTREMELY AWESOME it is, though I could seriously go on for pages about that. =P
As for digital effects, I am stunned by how you were able to embody a such a creative use of semi-transparent overlays. My favorite use of this occurs at 0:25 - 0:33, where it was implemented that Mello is an obstacle to Near much as Near is to Light, with an overlay of Wammy's House, where the rivalry began ...
... - up until the song began to change was a brilliant way to execute the AMV. The only real "issue" I had was that a few of the images that were used as overlays, though perfectly anti-alised, were cut off at the sides and bottoms. I understand that these were screenshots and there was probably nothing you were able to do to fix this problem, but it was the only thing I could find even slightly complicating this video ...(cont)...
Upon first seeing this AMV, I was speechless. I had to watch it at least 11 more times before I could put any of my thoughts into words.. And no, I do not exgagerate.
First of all, the action/editing sync was amazing. You followed through the beats of the song, and the introductory of the major characters, those involved in and standing in the way of Kira's Plan - which I believe was the concept behind the video if I'm not mistaken - ...(continued in next post)...
