If you made the body of the car have the same collision group as the ground the car was riding on, it would be more realistic, because the body of the car now just gets in the ground, no collision I guess?

So I see you turned off collision between the body of the car and the ground. So the suspension really didn't matter, we are all just basically watching two wheels on a track, and not a whole car.

I think the author was going for more of an aesthetic effect than a realistic simulation. But, I agree, it would be more interesting to watch the body collisions, especially if the car was breakable, even if only the fenders.

@reblogo Yes that is correct, its a side affect of giving it such high sus, more then the chassis can take, the bumpers are non collide whilst the body is to retain the correct appearance.

Good suspension for V.4.22, but the springs need less dampening and target length. Also you need to make the single piston suspension have minimal friction and restitution. Then rotate the front suspension forward so it can avoid flips, like what almost happened at 1:04.

On the Phun tool bar open "Options" go to Interface and select "Advanced mode" now select your hinge and go into "Hinges..." on the left hand side, at the bottom you will be able to set controls for: forward, back and brake.

The front of the car does not collide with the ground because it is in a different collision group to the ground(found in the collision menu). The reason behind this is that the car was not intended to go over such rough ground. To prevent the nose from smashing into the ground I stopped it colliding.

You have to right-click the hinge you want as the mover for the wheel and then you have to search for a menu where you can set "moving right, moving left and breaking" and there you have to set the keys you want. finished!

nice 2003 wrx sti. im liking the all wheel drive. Try adding wieght to the front of the car for the engine, and maybe even find and apply the ratio of power to the front and rear wheels. Now that would be awesome
