Its really nice to see the way they did their special effects at that time.. The landing of the truck is remarkable thing, they changed the landed truck with a new one and you just can't make out the difference in one go. Although if you see closer the landed truck got its axel and tyres in such a condition that it can't move ahead even few meters.. and then came the bike stunt of Arnold.. I can bet you its only Harly whose suspension can sustain such shock after falling from such height.

A thought just occurred to me - when the T-1000 morphed back to its police officer disguise at 9:00, the handgun it was using earlier morphed back with it onto its utility belt. Yet Arnie says that the T-1000 can't turn into complex machinery like guns or bombs at 9:25.

Far too many filmmakers nowadays overuse flashy effects, silly "shaky camera" filming, rapid-fire editing, etc. to compensate for bad scripts, poor acting, incompetent directing, lame action or suspense or choreography, and all sorts of other shortcomings. Not saying that high-end effects should never be used, only that they should be used sparingly to enhance an already good movie, as opposed to glossing up a bad one.

@wuebboltc well the truck driven by the t-1000 is a tow truck, which means, tons of low end torque but no high end speeds and certainly no quick acceleration! while connor was riding a little light and agile bike and he was sverwing left and right, so that's why that big truck couldn't get him and he wasn't necessarily "outrunning" in terms of being simply faster and getting away in a straight line! same goes for sarah connor on foot vs. truck in terminator 1 !
