Lol, yeah, it IS easy, and I can see by all your drum videos that you know what you're talking about...oh wait, you don't have any. Dude, this video was my first up, OVER A YEAR ago, and I had been playing double bass for four months. Just keep your posing comments to yourself, because I'm busy working on my drumming.
Don't have room for two bass drums, and no need to get Axis pedals because I'm more efficient now. This was my first video up, back in December of 2007, and I had only been playing double bass for four months.
Wow, some brilliant experimentation with the double pedal there, Hannah! I see you take the "heel-down" approach too, which is sensible - I've tried the "toe-down" approach, but that kills your ankles! lol

After years of that simple warmup lesson, I learned to play all the RUSH stuff with a SINGLE kick. I can still do triplets with one kick. It's very hard to switch after you have been using your whole leg since beginning, so don't change because of some old guys' suggestion. Haha....you are doing great!
Thank you very much for the information! I appreciate you sharing it with me!

It's such a personal choice how to play the kick, but a real pro would tell you "Heel planted" and not to move your enitre leg up and down. It takes years of discipline but you are doing AWESOME and whatever works for you, works for you!
