can you go from clean to distortion with just using your foot or do you always have to switch that button there with your hands? and if not, what distortion pedal goes best with it: big muff or boss ds 1?
WHY ALL THESE MOTHERFUCKERS WHO SHOW THESE PEDALS HAVE TO GO AND USE THE FUCKING PENTATONIC PRIMITIVE SCALE AND SOUD THIS BLUESY-SHIT THEY SOUND??? FUCK THE NEGRO MUSIC!
I use mine for hall reverb mainly, seriously addictive. Never use the drive section... Pitch shift set at unisono gives a nice chorus/detune sound. Quite enough modulation to my taste...
@aerostoner Unfortunately you are correct, only one of the effects can be used at a time. although there is a little reverb automatically added to the tremelo. I still think its worth it because to buy a reverb pedal and a tremolo separately would cost more than the $99 you'll pay for this.
btw: you can adjust the fuzz/drive.. simply switch from dark to warm etc. its not customizable like the graphic fuzz, but you dont always get those overly high pitched distortion sounds..
he problem is that most ppl dont know what they expect from a pedal, so they quickly get disappointed when they end up with the "wrong" ones.. this pedal is obvsly nothing for the stellar stereo sound freaks. its like hog vs whammy. some want effects to screw around with and get weird sounds, others to give birth to tonal adventures.. the latter wont be happy with a whammy eg.. i dont know if that makes sense to anyone but me.
@franklinpeach not the best, a little muddled, but decent. if your looking for a really great tremolo though, I would recommend the voodoo labs tremolo or the seymour duncan shape shifter tap tremolo, that one is especially AWESOME!
I have to say I disagree. I would recommend single pedals to players considering to buy this . Reverb is too dominant and has so much treble regardless of your settings. You cannot have any tremolo sound without any reverb in it. And pitch shiter is mostly useless. The volume difference betwen drives and clean is immense. Makes it impossible to use live. I mean no offense but this is a complete waste of money.
@dudarstmein Too much treble in the reverb? ehhhh, I think not, plus that depends on the guitar, it sounds great with mine, but i do agree the other effects are not great, but its only 100 bucks and I will agree to the death that the reverb alone on this thing is worth that much, i mean the holy grail costs $150
good video. i'm going to buy one of these! makes a lot of sense and saves a lot of space on my pedal board. it seems weird to combine, fuzz, tremolo and reverb - but at the end of the day it looks like a simple set up and really convenient for gigs...
heyy i have a question, can you use a different power supply for this?

this pedal needs to be modded - or its just a letdown - plain and simple..

so you can't actually use, for exemple, the tremolo effect and the reverb or pitch shift at the same time? only one at a time right?

Reverb is decent, tremolo is good and the fuzz is god-awful. You get what you pay for. Did I hear a little bit of Russian Circles there?
Andragon90 1 year ago
@Andragon90 the problem with the fuzz is that you can't adjust it, its set too high i agree...

@DrCool73 wtf is too much fuzz?

ya, it's a great pedal! there's links to 4 of the major companies selling this pedal on my site, check it out, and have fun with this awesome pedal!

is it a reverb pedal? like the holy grail?
mubudubum 2 years ago
ya, exactly, except it's cheaper and has other effects
DrCool73 2 years ago
Yes, I have actually done that before, it's a unique weird effect that isnt quite like a chorus, but you can do it.
DrCool73 2 years ago
Can you use the pitch shifter as a chorus type of thing?
