Since there is no purpose to existence there is no superior state and all endeavours are merely trivial games we play.

You suggest that physical strength is no longer as advantageous as it used to be. A potential societal collapse due to war could render physical strength quite pertinent to survival and so if the question is the ability to thrive and survive the most advantageous state would be adaptability to numerous possibilities.
