  • I'm just surprised the mouse doesn't rip through the side of the plant.

  • you probably put it on the edge of the trap so it would fall in and drown.

  • 0:02 :O woah. um. woah

  • All I see is a mouse falling inside the plant. Where is the eating? Stupid.

  • @tenentes77 its liquid poison it digested it SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY there sanother video of him shjowing off the half digested carcass FLAGGED!

  • @TahoeSouthShore Oh man, I guess you didn't notice. You left the care bears universe bro. You might wanna head back, cuz your in the real world now, where nature isnt shooting rainbows and sunshine out of its ass.

  • So this is "eating"? Wow, then I can eat everything...

  • @MrPixied at 0.10 a link comes up to the next video. It does count as eating if you digest it.

  • Did you put the mouse there?

  • press 2 repeating

  • I think its cool. It really is science at its best!

  • god cant help you now!

  • Something looks stange about the mouse?

no, this plant would eat a vegetarian!

  • @frenchmissile not with the mouse inside not!

  • I agree, as sad as it may have been for the mouse, it is nature at it's most brilliant, and scary!

  • You guys who cant handle the death of a mouse in a carnivorous plant are such pussies..thats nature..grow some fcking balls

  • @FlatsAreUs It isn't nature if the mouse is put there by a person.

  • just emagin what he is going to tell his friends in heaven

  • i have a Venus Fly trap of my own at home,I don't like putting flys in it,but it has to live some how....

  • @xitzandrewx No, this is Patrick!

  • It looks like a vagina.

  • @AccNarutogirl Have you ever seen a vagina before?

  • Anti climatic. Shoulda showed a time lapse. At least we could then confirm that it actually died.

  • the mouse cant chew its way out of the pitcher?

  • @pyr666 you really think the mouse is smart enough to think that up? use your head>.>

  • @FlatsAreUs

I've seen them eat out of mousetraps and into aluminum garbage cans. "run away" and "try and eat it" seem to be their modus operandi.

  • lol deadmau5

  • Sounds like a turd getting dropped

  • mouse got pwned by a plant O.o

  • Rat: Hm, hey guys. . .Does this plant feel slipper- AGH!

Plant: Om nom nom. . .

  • can't the mouse bite and scratch through the walls of the plant?, maybe a rat can.

  • 0:03

    Nom

  • DAYUMN NATURE YOU SCARY!!!!

  • So they fall in there and then what?

  • @GreenBlockland they get digested slowly

  • Anyone who thinks this is cruel has some seriously backwards logic. What do all the members of peta think animals do in nature? Have tea parties? Nope, they kill and eat each other, in fact some animals like the killer whale, kill for sport.

This plant just hopped on the band wagon...through years and years of evolution

  • Save that poor mouse!!! :(

  • ts not nature when a human places a mouse ontop of a pitcher plant for their own cruel humor

  • @vrdhond It's not cruel humor, it's feeding time! =D

  • @vrdhond agree

  • This was intreasting I can't belive the animal rights morons who think this is cruel it's nature get a life the mouse was not dropped in it fell in it was it's own fault. LIFE IS CRUEL GET OVER IT.

  • dear cute lil mouse, surviving the first time does not mean you will make it out alive again the second time... sincerly, theplantthatjustpwnedyou. (yeah i know its not the same mouse but whatever)

  • So thats what happened to Hermit

  • DAMN NATURE YOU SCARY

  • Did you help it out?

  • That would be a bad way to go.

  • Crazy PETA animal rights activist: THIS IS EVIL!!

Piranhaboy01: Evil, you say?... THIS. IS. NATUUUUUUUUURRE!!

  • @xitzandrewx its not nature when a human places a mouse ontop of a pitcher plant for their own cruel humor

  • @IanBpa You're right. It's called feeding a plant to take care of it.

  • @jedihunter176 Yeah taking care of it, even though you could feed it anything else, and not upload it to Youtube and call it

"mouse gets eaten by carnivorous plant!" obviously he found joy in it.

  • @IanBpa My goodness, if I didn't know better I'd say you're mad.

  • @xitzandrewx

Except it's not... this doesn't happen to nature. Nice attempt at making light of animal cruelty, I guess.

  • whta happend to it

  • obviously someone put it there -_- poor mouse

  • now if they can make one that a few thousand people can fall into -_-

  • Its a mouse itll just chew its way out probably killing the plant in the process

  • YUCK THATS FUCKIN SICK THAT U WOULD DO THAT ASSHOLE STRIT UP

  • @Christian4747HD I know, right! What a mean plant! How dare it resort to a carnivorous lifestyle? Why can't it just get nutrients from the ground and sun like other plants?

  • @jedihunter176 It still gets energy from the sun but the soil that they naturally come form is very low on the nutrients that a plant would normally need to survive so instead of suffering from malnutrition, it adapt its leaves to help it get the missing nutrition it will need to survive

  • @Sorazodia Shh, I'm trying to make a PETArd feel like an idiot :p

  • @jedihunter176 my mouth is seal o_o

  • @Sorazodia My hair is bird :D

  • the liquid inside the plant breaks down the mouse to absorb the nutrients from it

  • bro why didnt u save it by pulling it out

  • NOOOO!!!! NOT THE CUTE LITTLE MOUSY!!

  • What happens inside?

  • HAha

  • Damn nature, YOU scary!

  • ive seen this happen befor all tho mice are small dont under estimate them it will destroy that plant to live

  • Give this plant a couple of million years and it will start eating people.

  • I was waiting for it to burp.

  • who put the mouse on the plant is what i want to know? im sorry no way in hell you waited with a can for that long to see a mouse fall prey to a plant. in any case nore would a muse crawl on that plant for any reason. it offers no food to it, even if it did it would have eaten if from ground up. way to make good snake food fall in to a plant...

  • dang nature u scary

  • Nice try nature, this is the best payback you can work out for us eating salads?

  • Most likely it will drown before it dissolves. Better to drown than digest while still alive.

  • let the poor thing out!

  • @iFilmmak3r The video was made 4 years ago, I have a feeling the mouse might be dead by now.

  • @ThePantherVision Well let's all take a moment of silence.....

  • @iFilmmak3r Silent night?

  • @ThePantherVision Jingle bells.

  • @iFilmmak3r slug eats mouse.

  • @ThePantherVision mouse eats slug.

  • @iFilmmak3r Virgin @ 25.

  • @iFilmmak3r Wet feet? Squeal :(.

  • @ThePantherVision I can't top that.

  • @iFilmmak3r Dentures @ 25.

  • 0:02 needs a *shoop* or vacuuming noise xD

  • '

put the videocamera to see the plant hole and see the mouse

  • PEGI 18!

  • and you ley it die? douche

  • @JJBRAGGER Go hug a tree cupcake

  • 1:00 what was tapping?

  • What kind of plants would be good to place around a garden to keep insects from getting into it? Would plants like this be effective?

  • that is a domestic mouse. Isn't it cruel to set it on top of the plant so it falls in, burns alive and drowns in acid when the plant doesn't even need bugs in captivity let alone rodents? It's even more wrong then feeding live rodents to reptiles, because at least reptiles NEED to eat. This plant could get all of it's nutrition through fertilizer, and never need to eat at all.

  • @Comicat1 Im sorry, but you are totally wrong. If you fertilize carnivorous plants, they will die because them are designed to live in nutrient poor soil. And, yes, if that plant wont get food in long time, it wil die of. And like the description says they are designed to attract, kill and digest any animal that falls in that trap. Its nature, man nature, like reptiles, bugs and everything else that is living.

  • @evilcarni thank you. it summed it up nicely and yes, carnivorous plants will die if they can't eat. they have to start to kill mites and springtails as seedlings, collecting the nutrients to become larger. fertilizer in even the smallest doses could be fatal to virtually all but a couple of carnivorous plants. this plant grew over 30 feet and more of vines since that meal and had nothing but pure water in its pot of moss/mud for the past 10+ years.

  • im ol greg, what are you doin in my waters?

  • Wtf

  • it never came out

  • Thats cool but its sorta sad how they burn alive in a painful death

  • it won't do anything for the plant it only "eats" bugs

  • A Wild RATTATTA appeared! Go VICTREBELL! Rattatta used Quick Attack! 15 damage! Victrebell used Attract! Rattatta is in love with Victrebell! Victrebell used Sludge! 10 damage! Rattatta used Tackle! Rattatta was immobalized by love! Victrebell used Toxic! 25 damage! Critical Hit! Rattatta Fainted! Victrebell gained 25 exp!
  • I feel sorry for the plant. It has to digest that dirty, stinky, disease-ridden mouse. Gross.

  • @Xeonaa Lol, that's probably a store bought mouse... Yeah, they may be stinky, but they surely better not be disease-ridden 8p

  • (MOUSE HEAVEN AND THE MICE ARE TALKING)

mouse 1: i got eaten by a cat

    mouse2: i got eaten by a hawk

    mouse3: I GOT EATEN BY A PLANT

    (all other mice): pffft hahahah....

  • MOAR! CHIKIN!!

  • SAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Victreebel defeated Rattata.

I do wanna know though, was the pitcher plant able to digest the mouse?

  • So anyone wanna educate me on what happened to the mouse when he dropped in there?

  • @potatomongor22 anything that falls in will get digested

  • @SketchFoxx So the instance it fell in there its already dead or is it suffering? lol

  • @potatomongor22 the mouse drowns a death that would be as painful as you could imagine drowning, but it dies before it gets digested so it isnt torture :/

  • @potatomongor22 I imagine it twisted back around to get its head out of the fluid but it couldn't get out so eventually it dies. I don't know how powerful the fluid is, can't imagine very powerful against rodents so I imagine it died of famine and exhaustion

  • sucks to be that mouse

  • Victribeel used leach life. It was super effective.

  • @bobleeswa66er Enemy RATATTA fainted!

  • Comment removed

  • if this guy is mean why did you click the title in the first place. "Mouse gets eaten by Nepenthes carnivorous plant", it's obvious what you were gonna watch. what's the difference between feeling sad for a mouse or a bug they are both living things.

  • You don't feed them mice. You feed them bugs you moron. The mouse can easily chew it's way out of the plant.

  • Did it dissolve the mouse completely or did it leave bones and teeths?

  • u'mmm wouldn't a rodent simply chew his way out the bottom of the plant?

  • @De0n0rth There is acid at the bottom ort of like stomache acid.

  • @De0n0rth theres water in it so its gona drown

  • @De0n0rth rodent's teeth aren't made to cut through flat or concave surfaces. Besides, the rodent probably died from the digestive juices before it could even think to chew through anything.

  • @De0n0rth no because the plant is actually alive and aware. unlike other plants, this has a digestive system.

  • @PhoenixBaby96 umm...you realise this plant digests through "waterlogging" its prey right?.... it can eat insects cuz they drown and decompose (thier digestion is really accelerated decomposition, it doesnt do it on its own) a mouse not only wont drown, but death by waterlogging would take days to even start to destroy the skin... pleanty of time for a mouse to simply chew its way out or kill the plant

  • @De0n0rth well, that is if there is no water, mouse cant swim so when it is drowning , it doesnt give any thought about biting the plant out

  • @De0n0rth I'm pretty sure that at the bottom of the plant there are fluids for digestion, and to kill. It probably paralyzed him.

  • @De0n0rth theres a killer liquid at the bottom of the plant that only breaks down the life of small animals/insects

  • @84updown Over a period of days. This mouse was still alive, and probably chewed its way out later.

  • @Tycholarfero THE LIQUID KILLS THEM BEFORE 10MINUTES DUDE :P

  • @84updown Really? Oh, sorry bro.

  • guys its going to happen whether you type your comments below about how bad it is or how wrong it is so why bother? what do you wish or try to accomplish? Its NATURE its what heppens and cannot be stopped. IT is the circle of life!

  • Hey dude, record of how it gets digested and stuff. That would be interesting to watch. Like a timelapse or something.

  • how does it die? from hunger/thirst? and how does the plant get nutrients does it have a throat?

  • LOL STUPID MOUSE! >:D

  • thats going to smell so bad!

  • wow people why do you click on the video if you don't like it the videos names says whats going to happen get over it
