i was in this tornado and is still having nightmares from it. i was 6 months pregnate and was not able to take shelter. I will never forget it. god watched over us and i grieve for the ones that lost loved oned
well, today is the anniversary of the tornado. I just came back from the town's remembrance thingy at the High School gym and it was sad. We watched this vid and I was told I could find it on youtube. The tornado was awful but storms happen.
my nanny, cuz jeremy, and aunt shirley all lost their home in this tornado...may God be with them. My family and everyone else who lost loved ones are in my prayers...peace. p.s. i love this song
i live 7miles west of lonegrove. this was a very scary of time. i knew a couple of people that lost their homes to this and one is still in the hospitals. my prayers are still with these peopel that lost everything.
i live in houston texas (i was born in ardmore oklahoma) and i walked across my living room...and heard long grove on the news...i watch it for a minute..then i stop hearing and i almost blackout...i wanted to cry...so i ran to my phone..and made sure my family was ok...and im so happy...they are all fine. now...im not big on bibles or church....but im glad to know that second home of mine was ok...and there is still hope there =)
It made me cry too. Some for sadness, some because of the love and friendship shown by others who tried to help in the recovery process. The steeple in the bar sticks with me. ;)
A very good job on this video! I have lived in the Grove all my life. Thank you for making this it just goes to show the good spirit of our little community.GOD BLESS YOU!!!

A 4 to 5 mile damage path? That seems short for an EF4. It might have been slow moving though, like the Elie tornado.

This is so touching. My mother-in law lost her home in this tornado, but she survived. Thank you for posting this video.
