you can get 110 flm for your 110 camera at the four corner store, and you can get the instant film for your cameras at the-impossible-project, it is kinda pricy because polaroid won't give them the formula for the sx70 spectra 600 100 and 80 film
I'd heard of The-Impossible-Project, but I'm waiting for them to make the formula better and for it to become cheaper and more readily available. I know I can still get 110 film, I just didn't know I could back when I did this video (it's been over a year)
The Sun600, like all Polaroids that use the cartridge film (SX70, 600, etc.) there are batteries built into the cartridge. The old "Peel & stick" Polaroids (like the ZIP, or 440) use batteries that aren't in the cartridge, taking AAs and others.
No, I don't really want to sell any of my cameras. Besides, most of mine are more suited to experienced photographers... aside from the Polaroids and basics.
The new film should be ready early next year if everything goes to plan. You cannot use 600 film without modifying the camera. If I were you, I'd just wait until you can buy brand-new film.
Hi um i was given a box brownie from my grandpa. I love photography but i am only educated on the new stuff. To cut to the chase i was wondering if you would know a little about box brownies and how old mine might be cos i don't have a clue. At the moment it is just a display item in my room but i want to know a little bit more. This is also what i could read on the box
3 to 4 feet, for portraits, it takes 620 film V.620.'Verichrome' Kodak (according to the sticker on the inside)
There are many sites on the web to date your brownie, but it's likely from the forties or fifties. The problem with the 620 film that your camera uses is a large one. My Duraflex 4 uses that same film, which was discontinued sometime in the sixties, so unless you use 120 (which you can get on Ebay new) and re-spool it on 620 spools, your camera is useless. The film can easily be developed comercially, so I wish you luck on your new camera. If you need more info, let me know.
I have that exact same 110 camera. 110 film is still available online but you may have trouble finding a place that can process it. 126 film is no longer made but leftover stock from 2007 is still available.
I like those older cameras where you can actually hear the flash circuit charging, with that high-pitched whine. My local public library used to have Polaroid cameras that you could check out and use. There was no charge but you had to buy and use your own film.
I subscribed because of this video. You have a nice little collection there. I plan on doing a vid of my camera collection soon.

FilmerMoshe 2 years ago
The film that the Polaroid SX-70 uses is obvious... it's the SX-70. I would also like to point out that new film is not available yet.

wait, u said for the last camera, the SX-70, that Polaroid will start making the film for it again in 2010. Is that true??

Polaroid won't be making the film. A company that bought all the equipment will be.
