  • My old washer was always balanced (forgot the brand) now I have the whirlpool cabrio HE it works fine right now had for about 3 years now

  • NIce wash. I did laundry in a hotel and always ran the commercial washer this full. As long as there is enough water and the machine can extract the load it works fine. At least in the big Speed Queens it does.

  • @dualactionsurgilator Thank you! That's what I'm talking about... there are still some ppl out there who refuse to accept this scenario. The extraction is quite powerful as the 3 interim spins are carried out at 1000rpm (provided that I leave the dial on 1000 or higher). I am ready to accept the fact that stuffing the washer full is not ideal in the case of ground in dirt. Cheerio.

  • How did i get from rs to this

  • It sounded like it would takeoff at 04:15

  • Why you washed white towels only at 40°C thats not good... wash the m on boilwash

  • @Maturasigma it's ok to wash towels at 40°C occasionally provided that they're not particularly grubby ;-)

Also, this load contained some items that wouldn't withstand high temperatures. Thanks for your comment.

  • my brother has the same hoover!

  • what.. no rs?

  • LMAO! The ageing process turned the plastics yellow. Cool video :)

  • Hey thanks :-)

I know... I should've used nightshot mode LOL

  • Your welcome mate :D

  • Overloading the washer means that it does not get your clothes as clean as it cannot tumble as well.

YOu can see this that some items are staying in the same place rather than being distributed about the drum.

  • You're generally right, although this was not ordinary cycle as the main wash lasted a long time and the load did eventually change position: compare different sections of the vid when you see in turn white towels, a striped garment, pink towels, brown bedding an so on.

I guess the bio-powder + oxy-action did their bit after all... drying was a pain as my dryer holds 6kg (the washer too, but this load was over that) and if I fill it up to capacity it returns wrinkles you wouldn't believe LOL

  • Eventually they may have distributed around the drum but the clothes did not see the full benefit of that cycle.

If they had been really dirty they would not have had the tumbling action they should have got... you should never overload it as clothes do not get as clean even though they may look it.

  • Sure... they weren't that dirty to start with, although they didn't just look clean, they smelt it and felt it and after weeks in the cupboard they were still as fresh as ever.

    Thanks for commenting ;-)

  • yeah gunna be honest he is right!! as long as there is enough detergant to make the clothes absorb the water then its fine!! that load looked well washed anyways!!

  • nice video:) Great Full Load there.

love the noise as it speeds up to spin

also Nothing wrong with a bit of Daz. we used it for years :)

    thanks

  • I just about poor anything down the drawer... well, almost anything :D

Although I do like Daz :)

  • I like that you load it that much.

Eventhough people say that loading it that much it will not get clean and use more energy.

Don't by it for a second, because i very often load my miele that much, and it is alweays clean even when i use the cheapest detergent.

I always use the cheap detergent.

  • Thanks Johnny ;)

I ought to agree, cheap detergents might not smell as nice but they still do the job. Perhaps overloading increases the risk of breaking the machine (especially non-Miele) but it def gets lots of laundry out of the way! The real issue is overloading the Dryer... that's a no-no, unless you keen on ironing for hours on end :P

  • I love my 10 year old miele!

I just had the thermostat changed in it, because she sometimes played tricks on me and gor up to 95 even if i set it lower.

  • Yeah, it's easy to love an appliance when it serves us so well! I'm very happy with Nextra, and I relise how much I'd miss it when I go on hols and I use a different washer. Thanks for your comments ;-)

  • Love the sound of the motor on this machine when its tumbling :-)!

  • no suds is a bad sign. you want a few suds, between 1-2cm thick

that cheap stuff dosern't create suds

  • I thought so... funny this load came out really clean, maybe the detergent had enough time to work its way through even if it was low quality... I don't think a normal cycle would have been as effective. Thanks for your comment :-)

  • You don't need any suds to clean clothes, suds reduce the tumbling action so the results are no better if you overdose, it's just a waste of detergent and it makes the rinse results poorer. Sudlocks damage the washer too, excess strain on the motor.

  • Great video and thanks for uploading. No half turns or rocking chairs but I saw a rollback during the final rinse where u showed it tumbling. What I saw looked like a rollback!

  • Thank u 4 watching it! ;)

  • what was the detergent let me guess ariel?

    lol :D

  • I wish!! I just got myself some cheap discount washing powder booooo LOL

I also added some oxy action though :)

  • wicked lol :P

  • yeah if u did a delecates spin u would have had sudslocks if modified the water level too :)

  • The thing is... if I tamper with the washer during a cycle I can no longer get back to the cycle I chose unless I start all over again... I know that might be fun 2 :P

  • lol one way of testing

would be ideal for a delicates final spin too

  • Hi ya... what kind od delicate final spin... surely not the 1 from the wool cycle... I can tell u know what that's like LOL
