hey guys i started to get into these games by the "angry video game nerd" videos he is hilarious and he bags on the worst of the worst nes, snes, intellivision, commodore, neo geo, turfmasters, power glove, N64, virtual boy, PS1 games. u should check him out
These games were my early-childhood favourites. I discovered it from a N64 controller that plugs into the TV then plays a bunch of nes games. I played Super C all the time. (I know this isn't the way I should get publicity, but I don't have any views, would any of you mind checking out my channel and maybe commenting on something?
you do not sound like you are 18, mabye its the mic idk. anyway if you are as young as i think you are then im glad that some younger people like oldschool style games. most people i know would say the contra is gay or whatever but contra is epic and we know it. you should check out contra on the Nintendo entertainment system its kick ass ( tell me if i am mistaken about the whole age thing)

@Marioiswicked Not at all. But I do get what ur saying. Halo is so overrated, and all of those Xbox games have way too much blood. Why can't they make more games like they did for the NES and SNES?
@TruthTeller365 Nintendo it seems it the only company who makes fun games, like games dont need to be uber HD and have crazy violence and gore they need to be fun and microsoft and sony cant really comprehend that, ive actually had one person say to me that if a game doesnt have shooting, it isnt good. yeah someone actually said that. now i dont mind shooters but that single statement is the opitomy of ignorance and retardedness. i feel like nintendo is a religion and everybody is an athiest WTF
@Marioiswicked You're one of the only people i've ever "met" who feels that way too. Sure, a couple of games like 3rd party games are always worse for nintendo systems, there are also some ok games on sony like Crash Bandicoot (when Naughty Dog owned it) or invizimals for psp. But the only really fun, kid-friendly games are by nintendo. Even the violent ones are more fun and kid-friendly than Halo or Gears of War. (and a lot less bloody)
@TruthTeller365 yeah i havent met many people who think like me either. one thing that perplexes me is that when you talk to people about games like zelda or mario 64 or whatever theyre like yeah that game kicks ass, so why dont they like mario galaxy or twilight princess? why do they contintue to say that nintendo games are "gay" mabye its because theyre just graphics whores and cant blame older games for not being HD, and yet there are still people who say that NES games have bad graphics, hmm
@Marioiswicked I know, what is WITH some people? I think they might like those games for nastalgic reasons. They weren't into games (/born yet) when the NES, and SNES came out, but super mario 64 was like their favourite game so they still like it. And why don't they like NES games? I really wish I had an NES/SNES system. The closest I can get to that is Kirby Superstar Ultra and Virtual Console downloads, but those aren't the same.
@TruthTeller365 yeah, you can never get the same experience if you dont play the games on the original console. there is a place out here where people drop stuff off, you can take stuff too and thats how i got my NES, and i bought lots of things from my friends too. i have 3 NES's and 1 SNES. usually i will play a game on an emulator then get it on VC and then buy the cartridge of ebay just to get the right experience. i just bought the original contra off ebay (we have come full circle)
@Marioiswicked I'd use emulators, but I find it to be like cheating. It's playing a game for free and having a million cheat codes to go with it. But I really want to try making a Machinima, and you can't do that without emulators, so it really sucks. (what do you mean full circle?)
