Hi, I just found your videos from a sister who liked your 'Thoughts on Humility'. I just wanted to say thanks for posting up these kind and helpful videos on Christian life. I'm a born-again Christian of maybe 6 months or so, but my mom is Catholic and my dad an atheist. I'm restricted from going back to the church I was saved in, so it's really nice and really encouraging to hear your thoughts on the Lord's sovereignty and the reminder to always intimacy with Him. Thank you!!
I think the Christian counselor is an awesome idea, I would avoid the meds too. Don't believe the world when it tells you that it is just some chemical imbalance, that's a load of lies. The good Lord will get you through this!! That I can promise, but it requires complete submission unto him.
@Victorian9322 You shouldn't have to deal with that stuff. My sister has been dealing with that junk for years and honestly, the only way she (and anyone else) can be set free is if Jesus sets you free! I don't think it's ok to just try to "cope". You are a born again child of God! It's not His plan for you to have that stuff in your life. My suggestion would be to take it to Him in prayer and trust that He'll do something! Also, have people pray for you and get yourself around other Christians.
@everabandoned Thank you so much! I'm really trying. My mom wants to put me on meds. My best friend is born again as well and thinks I should try a Christian therapist.
@Victorian9322 Please don't go on meds! God is WILLING and ABLE to set you free! It may come slowly, or be a sudden change. Just keep having faith in HIM!

How does a Christian teenage girl deal with suicidal thoughts and depression?
