MoiraS63 - you can use a little bit of baby powder or cornstrach (your choice but don't use both) and it will take away the shiny look. Also the more wear a wig gets ... the less shiny it usually is (not all the time though)! Hope that helped.

Great concept!!! Execution needs a little work. Part of making a 1/2 wig look great is seamless blending. I could tell the difference. A little more work and this would be a flawless look. Don't get me wrong ... it does look good on you though!

Just dust some baby powder on the wig and it will make it more dull and less shiny. Be sure not to use too much. Use small amounts until you get as much shine out as you like. If you use too much and it looks too dull you can use some oil sheen to bring some shine back. I do this with all my half wigs and it works. I hate that super synthetic shine most wigs come with.
