I love this video, I am displaying it on my channel for a little while because I love seeing the little ducky having fun and even chasing the kitty. It makes me feel happy. That kitty is gentle and the ducky must feel safe around it as it looks relaxed and playful. That is pure friendship. I love it!

I've had cats who were raised with prey animals and they never hurt them. Kittens play with each other this way, so even if he's practicing he probably wont ever hurt the duck. (obviously you still want to keep an eye on them)

Hmmm I agree that cat is young. It's just practicing. My cat used to play with my dog, he even let the dog bite it's ears and drag it along the ground lol, then the cat got older and if a dog annoys it, it will just slice it's head open, not the dog that played with it at first though, only other dogs. So maybe this cat won't attack the duck either, I dunno. They get to a certain age where they stop practicing and start killing though so watch out lol.

I have several animals friendships that are unique. Dog and ducks, dog and cats, duck and rooster, bird and dog, and it took a while to realize that my dog would never even hurt a fly. Wouldn't recommend this in general, despite the xs cuteness. The duck is not at all weary of cats and might 'play' with another cat which would see it as food, not part of it's clan/family. I had a friend with a human imprinted Muscovy duck; very cute as it wagged it's tail to greet you. It got squashed under a tractor because of its lack of weariness about humans and their contraptions.
