Not really knowing what went on then as I grew older, realising how upsetting and terrible the whole thing was and to this day, I cry about it. My wishes to all of the deceased and their families, especially the brave volunteer firefighter from my town in CT who went down there to help in the time of crisis, but did not make it out of the towers alive. He was married with two little boys who are now in high school, I'm sure they miss their dad very much.

@118Charlie I'm a Muslim and I cried for all these people who lost their lives when I visited the 9/11 Memorial Site in NYC and now as well because when I look at them,I just see "good" people and they didn't deserve it.Those attacks have nothing to do with my religion and Muslims.It was a "terrorist" attack like the ones we have been experiencing in our country for 30 years.So you don't need to protect your culture from any other culture or religion.

that was a beautiful tribute. to see those faces made my heart ache for the familys and victems themselves. I have seen but a few photographs of the victems/heros of that catastrophe and this made it so much more real not that it wasnt already. Beautiful Job!!

Today I pay homage to the victims who lost their lives in these attacks. It saddens me to think what humans can do to other humans in the name of religion and in their quest for power and control. I also pay homage to the 9/11 victims in my country, Chile in 1973, when a military dictatorship violently took power, killing and torturing thousands of my comrades aided and financed by the United States of America.
