  • As "KOJAK" was spun-off from 1973's "The Marcus-Nelson Murders", "To Kill A Cop" eventually became into a short-lived Friday night series, "EISCHIED" (starring Joe Don Baker), in the fall of 1979. 13 episodes were filmed- the final three were eventually shown (with repeats of the entire series) in the summer of 1983. "Holocaust" was a repeat from 1978; "The Martian Chronicles" and "Freedom Road" weren't that successful...

  • what years where the NB Seeeeeee us, NB See us?

  • "NB See Us" was used during late '78 to early '79, then it was replaced by "It's The New NBC", then "Proud As A Peacock" began in mid '79(although the 1976 'N' logo continued to be used until the end of the year).

  • The 1976 'N' logo was used until Fall 1979. The Proud N logo ('N' merged with the 11 feathered peacock) debuted in September, 1979.

  • Lol, They are "Proud As a Peacock", But had almost no shows in the top 20!

  • Sounds like a Casey Kasem voiceover. :-)

  • it was. I didn't even know that was his voice.

  • I'd almost forgotten that I'd posted in this one. ;-)

Having watched Transformers in my youth, CK's voice was easy to pick.

  • Yes, that is Casey.

  • It is Casey Kasem, 'nuff said!

  • Thanks for posting this cool NBC promo! The NBC 11-feather peacock rules!
