They actually made a re-make of Doshin for the Gamecube. This was ONLY released in Japan and Erope though because Atlas (the company that made Doshin) was offered to either send over Doshin the Giant or send over Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest. They chose Cubeivore thinking it would be more sucessfull. Cubivore is extreamly rare to find in America. If you do want an English version of Doshin, go onto eBay and look for a PAL version.
The kid made a wish to have a giant friend, then when he fell asleep, he dreamed of going to 'expo 96', he made a wish in the well (pond!) and then at the end you see Doshin, the big yellow giant there, where he comes to life.

'cause we didn't get the N64DD,
It just simply wasn't successful. Had nintendo released the U64/n64 AS a cd based system in the beginning, it would have been more successful.
