@MysterEy1 From what I understand this would give us god like abilities, in that we would be able to manipulate the human form suited to our wants and demands, not Gods. Too much tampering if you will. Everyone knows the harm we have done to the planet because of self interest. Genetic engineering would take this to a new level, and probably go as badly if not worse.

yeah, we're definitely fallen. sadly, we can't redeem ourselves, but the good news is that the God who loves us has redeemed us in His Son. by repenting of our sin and trusting Christ as Lord and Savior, we have life.

I can say though that one reason God does not immediately bring the redeemed into his presence upon salvation is b/c we have work to do - proclaiming the gospel. There are many lost sheep yet to bring into the fold of our Good Shepherd.
