Could Spyro 3 (YOTD) EVER be released on the 360? Or is it an absolute playstation exclusive? I know it's already out on the PS3.. Yet all of the other games were/can be multiplatform.. the lesser games.. ;_;
@xEMiiRUx I had to clean my hard drive and it downgraded from windows vista to XP.. Now I can't use emulators because I don't have the drives or something to play 3D games apparently, so I couldn't play it on the PC.. I've tried before.
Since the year of the Dragon is nearly truly upon us, here are my issues with this advert. First of all, Chinese people celebrate Chinese New Year, not the Japanese. Second of all, this advert should take place in Chinese places such as Hong Kong, Beijing or Shanghai. O_o Whoever made this can't tell the difference between Chinese and Japanese people and cultures.

@CielUchiha assassin's creed isn't a platforming game. you keep comparing spyro games to ones from completely different genres, like fighting games.
the newer games are less true to spyro's roots as a platforming mascot. the legend of spyro series focused more on story and combat elements than what people originally liked in the first spyro games. on their own no one would care, but it's using spyro for the sake of recognition that is disappointing. he is going the way of sonic the hedgehog

I'm willing to give Skylanders a chance, even if I'm not very enthusiastic. To be fair to it, Skylanders looks a bit like the old Spyro and tehy did say they based the style off the old games.
This was the only game I really had for the Playstation 1 (I was an N64 kid and I never even heard of the Saturn until 2003-04), but let me tell ya, this was easilly one of the best games I've ever played ever! The only problem with it was that I never had a Memory Card, and thus it never saved, and that always made me mad. But it was fun and awesome and I now have it on the PS3!
Those who don't know this game *squints eyes* where's your childhood? This is definitely on my top 10 list. I'd trade the rest of my games (besides VALVe games - nothing messes with VALVe) just to get a working PS1, and the PS1 crash and spyro series. I literally only need like 10 games to be happy for the rest of my life.

Im a Spyro veteran, played all the parts (yes i agree, 1&2&3 are the best) but somehow... The spyro 2 was more Developed than spyro 3, i mean it had a map, better interactions with the enviroment and the characters...

Time goes too fast, in which case we can't do much else than to relive our memories one by one to the best of our abilities. Maybe the world has changed tremendously, but we all will know who stuck with the little purple dragon to the very end, that games like these never fade.
I only got this game like 2 weeks ago, and already I have completed it 100%. The copy I got also came with a hologram card. But I enjoyed every minute of it. I will certainly go back and play it again, just because it was so much fun.
@Jellegeed don't ruin this for me. I am well aware of that, but to me 117% complete is the same as 100% complete. I got everything except for all the skill points, and I don't plan to go back and do those.
@trainman666 100% means you did everything. There's technically nothing above it when referring only to percents. Meaning you didn't actually 100% the game. You only did so to Spyro's standards but Spyro standards also say that 100% does not mean a complete game since they don't use it as a maxim.
@xOmniCloudx you do have a point there. But I did complete it. The only thing I did not do was get all the skill points. and you don't really unlock anything for doing that anyway.
It's a play on old-school Japanese subtitles that used to use "western" sounding names in place of the original names. I know this is an old comment, but I thought I'd give my 2 cents. Peace!
Oh god, this brings back so many memories. When I was younger, I would play this game everyday, on holidays like 4th of July and Easter. God it was so fun.
It was in the morning and i woke up to watch some kids WB... every Saturday i would watch "jackie Chan Adventures" and Then It was the Animated Kids WB logo meaning there will be a Commercial. When i saw the flames on that building lid up in to the bright sky... i knew it was spyro. I was so excited that the new Sypro game came out, i Yelled and woke up my parents. This was the summer of 2000.

I only got this game like 2 weeks ago, and already I have completed it 100%. The copy I got also came with a hologram card. But I enjoyed every minute of it. I will certainly go back and play it again, just because it was so much fun.

@Jellegeed don't ruin this for me. I am well aware of that, but to me 117% complete is the same as 100% complete. I got everything except for all the skill points, and I don't plan to go back and do those.

@trainman666 100% means you did everything. There's technically nothing above it when referring only to percents. Meaning you didn't actually 100% the game. You only did so to Spyro's standards but Spyro standards also say that 100% does not mean a complete game since they don't use it as a maxim.

@xOmniCloudx you do have a point there. But I did complete it. The only thing I did not do was get all the skill points. and you don't really unlock anything for doing that anyway.

Oh god, this brings back so many memories. When I was younger, I would play this game everyday, on holidays like 4th of July and Easter. God it was so fun.

It was in the morning and i woke up to watch some kids WB... every Saturday i would watch "jackie Chan Adventures" and Then It was the Animated Kids WB logo meaning there will be a Commercial. When i saw the flames on that building lid up in to the bright sky... i knew it was spyro. I was so excited that the new Sypro game came out, i Yelled and woke up my parents. This was the summer of 2000.

Old spyros... so good...
new ones arent sticking true to originals, just cheesy pickup abilities like unlimited flight whenever you want.
The whole point games dont have that feature is to make them challenging and fun.... Oh well... I' gonna play Spyro 2 now...
