I don't know why so many people are complaining about this movie. It was witty, filled with humor, endearing, intense, the love triangle BLEW ME away, just everything was magnificent!!! One of the bet movies I've ever seen, up there with Titanic and The Notebook!
@Splashstorm04 it wasnt historically accurate. they changed a lot of things (like the color of the japanese planes, how some ships sank etc) for dramatic effect. otherwise, i liked it. :)
Great trailer to a massive dud. What a disappointment. I remember seeing the trailer when I was like 11 or 12, and being completely transfixed - still am today.
Then I saw the flick a few years later...... Even at 14, the movie gave me a tooth ache. Asinine script, stiff acting, bargain basement patriotism, and most of all, a headache-inducing, hour and a half-long love story. Michael Bay, please return to commercials and music videos, and let Spielberg, Ridley Scott or Oliver Stone do the job.
@loyis77 too bad is wasnt even remotely close to being historically acurate and it was all some drama BS. i dunno, IMO this movie sucked because, why call a movie Pearl Harbor when only 30 minutes is about the actual attack and Do-Littles raid?
the most stupid movie ever made about a WW2.

@UnderMahUmbrella Yeah, I found that out a couple months ago after reading what critics had to say... I'd still say this was a GREAT movie x3
Splashstorm04 1 month ago
@UnderMahUmbrella They got three things right.
1) Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.
2) There were planes involved.
3) America retaliated at some point.

Has anyone seen the alternate Pearl Harbor trailer with Hans Zimmer music?
I find it much more powerful than this trailer.
I've been trying to find it in HD but I haven't been able to.
