  • the "Original Delaney and Bonnie" album with Jerry McGee and Jim Keltner etc was probably the best recording of the decade and possibly my favorite pop recording of all time. She is a timeless and magnificent talent.

  • I luv her.....

  • I remember this episode, they ended the half hour with these two singing over the credits, and I think it was Come On In My Kitchen, the Robert Johnson song. It was just one of those throwaway moments from taping, I'm sure, but a perfect moment in time with two giants in music.

  • love love love it

  • David Crosby, man, he was just one hit away from being Wavy Gravy.

  • I never knew Bonnie had a voice until I saw her sing on this show... thanks for posting. She's amazing!!

  • This clip is from the sitcom Roseanne.

  • I'd fly my ass to China and back to listen to this chick. Wonder why she's not big.

  • @JMU1023 You asked why this "chick" isn't big. Google Delaney and Bonnie. She was "big" . . . she's been singing for more than 45 years. As someone else mentioned, Google Bekka Bramlett, who looks and sounds so much like her mother, you would be hard-pressed to know which one was singing unless someone told you.

  • @cathyjacobs George Harrison and Eric Clapton willingly did background vocals and guitar for them on tour in 1970!

  • @cathyjacobs She's a musician's musician...part of tthe rock elite.....if you dont know her, yer a newbie!!!

  • Boy, she still has one heck of a set of pipes !!!!! What talent !!!!

  • I see you Janis Joplin

  • Does anyone know the name of this song?

  • Bonnie Bramlett was quite a bit more than " an Ikkete" !!! I knew Jimmy Miller for about ten years and he spoke of them fondly and often. Very often!

  • amazing voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I just love Bonnie so much on this show!

  • Bonnie Bramlett. The Queen of Blue Eyed Soul. Awesome!!!

  • I never knew she was a famous singer that has toured everywhere and sang with soo many talented famous people. Never knew this and she sang a famous song that I have heard before, I'm learning a lot today.

  • thank you so much for uploading this!

  • i know this is like country but Bonnie's voice reminds of Tina Turner.. she has beautiful vocals.. the best!!!!

  • @MaryRSaunders Well, Bonnie was an "Ikette" (a background singer for Ike & Tina's act).

  • Yes, she was an Ikette, and I hear that (to place that in the proper time frame and context of those times, 1967-69), she had to wear a wig and skin paint to fool the audience at the Apollo Theatre.

And you can more precisely name this rock and soul, not country at all. If you like Bonnie's singing, look for her daughter Bekka Bramlett. on wikipedia

You won't have to look far, that lovely young woman has sung with everyone in the modern musical world, the list will amaze you.

  • @MaryRSaunders Bonnie was a back up singer for ike and tina turner back in the day

  • @MaryRSaunders Country? COUNTRY?! *facepalm* This is blues, my dear. Blues!

  • @StellarAlchemy i know what im talking about, thanks. and im not your dear but thx

  • @MaryRSaunders You know what you're talking about, eh? Well, you know how it is: if you have to come right out and say it, it probably isn't true. LOL

  • @MaryRSaunders sounds like pat benatar to me.

  • bonnie sure can wail........

  • Bonnie Bramlett has one of the most profoundly powerful voices of women in music. She was soooo better than to be on Rosanne, although I did enjoy her role.

  • @nahnni And David Crosby wasn't? Fact is, they both gained new fans of their music through the show, and that is a wonderful thing.

  • @mareckbamf What are you referring to? David Crosby being a featured guest on Rosanne on a couple of occasions playing Bonnie's boyfriend? or that Delaney & Bonnie never reached the wider recognition of C, S & N, but certainly deserved to? Of course the series brought exposure.

  • @nahnni My point is Rosanne is an icon in American television. I don't think either one was "too good" to be on the show. Art manifests it'self in many ways. Rosanne is just another way, and vastly underrated by those "in the know".

  • @mareckbamf ~touché

  • @nahnni what does that mean? Roseanne was a great show!

  • @latinahoney123 touché essentially means I concede you are right :)

  • what a two set of great pipes

  • crosby on nick! taths cool

  • Yeah,, she's not nearly appreciated or widely known enuff ,, as she should be

  • Comment removed

  • That's Bonnie of Bonnie and Delany (classic rock).. They do a killer version of "I just wanna make love to you." She's one of my favorite female voices of all time!

  • Their era of music is something they wont let go of and thank GOD!

  • i seen this on roseanne last night...thanks for posting it

  • If you like both these artists, check out Essra Mohawk & Bonnie's "The Moment" and listen to Essra's "I Have Been Here Before" that was the inspiration to his "Deaj Vu."'

  • God I love this woman's voice, it rocks!

  • Roseanne is really rocking out!

  • I have a feeling these two great talents made that song up "on the fly" for the TV show.

  • Actually, the song was written by Bonnie's Ex husband, Danny Sheridan who also appears in this video on the bass.

  • Thanks for filling me in!

  • I still don't know why she changed her name. I watched the Roseanne show for years and never knew that was Bonnie from Delany and Bonnie!

  • ich liebe sie beide...

  • outstanding

  • Have you heard her daughter, Bekka, sing? She's great! I first noticed her when she sang backup on Jonny Lang's "Lie to Me."

  • always have loved bonnie's style...nice post..thanks

  • Bonnie, has one HELLUVA voice. And coming from a singer, and my singing style, is VERY similar to her's, thats saying something. She's got so much soul in her, if she were to enter American Idol or something, hands down winner no questions, at least in my book......!!! Go Bonnie...............!!!!

  • Fantastico!

  • Bonnie I love you!!

  • David Crosby is my hero!

  • These two are incredible

  • They are INCREDIBLE!! Raw amazing talent!!

  • This Roseanne episode was on Nick @ Nite last night! Had never heard it before and couldn't get back to sleep because I kept singing it over and over in my head. LOVE IT!

  • this is soooo cool!!!

  • Excellent!! love it, Thanks

  • This song is "Roll On Down", written by Danny Sheridan who is playing bass is this clip. The guitarist is not Jimmy Page, but Pete Comita. He was in Cheap Trick for a year but played with Bonnie Bramlett and Danny Sheridan in their group, Bandaloo Doctors.

  • looks like page on guitar! ha

  • Thank you so much for posting this! Now I'm looking for the episode where they have a barbecue and Bonnie is singing "You've Really Got a Hold on Me." One of my fave Roseanne episodes only because Bonnie sung the hell out of that song.

  • breakthru8..tried to post this 2x, hope this one works...

This clip is from the Roseanne show episode,"The Bowling Show" Jan. 1992. The song is "Roll On Down".

If you go to Bonnie's site, BonnieBramlett . com, then to-TV, & Movies, you will find all the episodes she was in and an mp3 of this song.

  • Nice voice.

    She's recorded with Essra Mohawk.

  • AWESOME!!! Damn D&B were too cool (especially the B)

  • Bonnie's voice gives me chills! I have been searching youtube sporadically for this clip! Thanks for uploading it..

  • thanks jim!

  • u bet, anytime

  • can somebody PPPLLLEEEAAASSSSEEEE post the name of this song from this clip at the restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she is the most soulful white lady that ever lived wow!!!!!!!! her voice is flawless, it's powerful, it's free and wild, and raw and yet so beautiful!!!!!!!!!

  • Hadn't heard this tune before but I imagine it's "Roll on Down"

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS SONG??? have been searching for it forever!!!!!please help

  • This may have been an impromptu tune that David and/or Bonnie came up with for the TV shoot.

  • One of my favorite scene throughout the history of the Roseanne Show next to Bonnie singing Really Got a Hold on Me during the family cookout.

  • Oh that cookout scene was my favorite. She's so talented, and that's one of my favorite songs!
