like listening to a bad eighties trip ......like a cat, a drum machine an echo machine and some ho,s stuck in a washing machine ......come on I could do better than this ! I am off out the garden now with my casio three milk bottles and an acid tab I tell you man apart from the angels i see it will be the same trip
Interesting that the purer House songs I just listened to (as someone said, this song is more Freestyle) had people reminiscing about the New York clubs, while this song has people reminiscing about the New York streets. Ha!
To you guys n gals out there, one of the best things about these old school songs to me is not only being able to hear them, but also being able to read the comments. I dont know what brings me back more memories the songs or the fact that so many people shared the same expiriences that I did. Its so deep to know that thousands and thousands of other people had awsome times as well.
Wow..if we could only repeat some things in life!!! But hey, life goes on, and so does the music. I love YOUTUBE!

along with real life, dreams of santa ana,,, proberbly up there with the most thought about and well put together records ever made during that erah...
classic todd terry track but this is not house this is breaks/freestyle. As far as the usage of the masters at work name, this is the story. In 1987, Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez loaned out the name Masters At Work (a street party alias he was using with Mike Delgado) to Todd Terry for the 1987 singles "Alright Alright" and "Dum Dum Cry". Terry returned the favour one year later by introducing Gonzalez to Little Louie Vega. They then took up the Masters At Work moniker and did rather well out of it.
Old school classic @ its best.. somebody in the house say hoe!!!! New York baby... New York house @ its best.. miss those days dearly.....Wow time sure does pass you buy... WTF
todd terry just brilliant with the melodic samples - this sounds like a track he made a year or so later, 'santa barba' but i think this one was better, except the equipment at his disposal was a lacking little in the quality department - although i think equipment limitations brings the best out of musicians - as some said - 'software killed the hardcore/dnb scene'.
one of my biggest influences this track had it on jackmaster vol 1 todd terry genius still sounds fresh ....thank you
