  • uterus fallopian tubes and ovary they in scarborogh hospital took out what they took i never had any thing in my body

  • I just hope my girlfriend doesn't need a hysterectomy later in her life or, for that matter, at any time at all. I mean yes I do want to be a father genetically related to my daughter or son.

  • You don't need a hysterectomy for fibroids or ovarian cysts unless you have the wrong doctor. Go to the HERs Foundation on the web for more info.

  • @FindingKC what about if your uterus has lack of blood supply due to a messed up procedure?? What choice do I have when mine has almost no color? If I DON'T I die, if I DO I could die due to lupus, meshes, adhesions and adrenal shock. needless to say i'm scared shitless here!!! No I am not trolling! Scheduled feb 1st.

  • @grettagrids, I'm sorry for your situation, please contact the HERS Foundation on the web and get more information and options. Just google it. A lot of procedures gyns do are very damaging, then they use scare tactics. Go to HERS and call, they can help you sort it out.

  • @FindingKC can I have the HERS link plz??? I really dont have much choice to save my uterus as I am now battleing another infection and my cervix is closed(has to be drained by needle) but perhaps some things can be spared?

  • very well made. i had mine 1 month ago due to heavy periods and on all the time. 1 great thing about this is no more periods. it take about 3 months to recover. but you feel better after 1 month. good luck everyone.

  • well done to this presentation

  • Ouch?! Cutting a vagina still sounds like it'd hurt!!

  • I think they've developed techniques now where an incision in the abdominal wall isn't necessary every time. Certain patients can simply have it all removed through the vagina since cutting through all that muscle lengthens recovery time significantly, most doctors now I think prefer the other way.

  • ., yeah!!! I have fortunately seen one... on my duty in cuenca batangas.. our patient has to go to a CS, she has myoma bigger that her uterus, the doctor had to get rid of the uterus and myoma.. lucky me i got 2 cases in one operation
