@pozzi0 : no it really doesn't. i have this album on CD. this sounds like a dodgy rip / download, it has extra squeaky crackling noises all over it that (unlike the ones that are supposed to be on the record) sound terrible

@hotbloodeddetectivej ya you're right, it's one of two things, the source is vinyl and the cartridge needs to be replaced or the arm and/or platter need to be balanced, or its simply a bad encode from a digital source (ie. CD). I have this on vinyl and retail CD and neither have that high pitched scrubbing you're hearing.
