To the haters, IMO If you need the pure driving experience you don't need a Manual Evo, you need a Lotus.
I've owned Manuals my whole life and brought an 2010 Evo X MR, I honestly think I'm much quicker on the track with SST and despite what the haters say barreling into a corner and tapping the paddles is actually fun though sometimes I do miss the feel of having a Manual.
I think if you can't appreciate the innovation of Dual Clutch you don't really like cars, it's amazing technology!!!

if they did that then tehy would know that the tc-sst is not an automatic gearbox, but a manual one with two clutches and two rows of gears (even and odd gears).

Mitsubishi is offering their GSR Evo with the 5-speed manual and the MR is equipped witht the twin clutch sportronic transmission no power change on any its just what you like only difference is the automatic gets one less mile per gallon of gas than the manual transmission

I was merely looking at the MR's transmission from a technological stand point. It's called a "DUEL CLUTCH AUTOMATED MANUAL TRANSMISSION". I understand what you are saying tho. You prefer the traditional car with a clutch. (If there is no clutch, its an auto), got it. But technology is changing man and you need to be up-to-date and less ignorant about it.

PS: And as for the exotic cars like Lambo's not having manual, that's outrageous. They offer 6-spd manual as well as the semi-auto. Nonetheless, they must be offered because it is an attribute that can make or break a customer from purchasing - I know it would for me.

I have seen ppl with a manual car that drives like shit, I also know ppl that switch back to automatic after driving manual for years. @max22g actually on the evo its been shown many sport exhausts decrease horsepower because the original car was already tuned to the optimum settings.
@lejink - ur smoking crack. aftermarket exhausts are larger thus providing better breathing. the turbo spolls faster. you will have to get the car tuned with an aftermarket exhaust.
@pescadero do some research for yourself, aftermarket exhaust on some cars negatively effects the power band. it can cause a decrease in torque at lower rpm.
this is coming from professional drivers, i am only repeating what they said. so you are arguing with people whos career is knowing cars.

@cenagod Coming from a guy that has a Muscle Car video?...sorry, but straight line speed does not entirely define a car's performance. The Evo has one of, if not THE most advanced all-wheel-drive system available today...better than the Haldex, better than Quattro, better than anything. This car, along with all previous Evo iterations, have more potential than nearly anything on the market, especially in this price range.

well dont turbo chargers have to have a blowoff valve and plus some people jst want to make it lke an evo becasue they probably dont have enough money for it and cant people tune their own Lancer and isnt it the regular taillamps for the evos and the lancer except for the new ones

@ReptileKiiNG MR has a fancy tranny on it thats allows u to paddle sshift without a clutch. GSR 5 speed Man. gets 0-60 a econd faster than MR
MR has alot more Luxures, more electronic features and nicer stock BBS rims for some.
gsr is cheaper but faster..still an amazingly beautiful car and unlike other cars u pay less for more speed :)

@ReptileKiiNG dude do yourself a fav go get an evo 9. and practice with the stick before you touch an automatic. like me im regretting because once you get so used to the automatic, it is hard to learn shift stick. plus evo 9 is way better, better fuel mileage, lighter, smaller. and more head turning than the X, because the x is very much like the regular lancer. trust me.

@ReptileKiiNG to me evo is the car that would benefit me in a long run because it can handle different type of road conditions. plus it has a great horse power pact inside a small sedan. you know what i mean. im not telling you to get an evo just because you heard great thing from it. there are many other great cars out there that can handle the road like an evo such as subaru, audi,etc. you should really look into what you like the best. think about what fits your personality.

PS: And as for the exotic cars like Lambo's not having manual, that's outrageous. They offer 6-spd manual as well as the semi-auto. Nonetheless, they must be offered because it is an attribute that can make or break a customer from purchasing - I know it would for me.

I have seen ppl with a manual car that drives like shit, I also know ppl that switch back to automatic after driving manual for years. Not everyone have the luxury of having multiple cars to satisfy different occasions. It's all about what suits majority of your need and balance it with a little fun. You obviously failed to see that ppl who choose a double clutch gearbox might have personal preference towards ultimate speed than the enjoyment of shifting.

The Evo has one of, if not THE most advanced all-wheel-drive system available today...better than the Haldex, better than Quattro, better than anything. This car, along with all previous Evo iterations, have more potential than nearly anything on the market, especially in this price range.
