I think the reference to castration is meant to represent the way men are often chastised even for just looking. There are a lot of songs about how tough women have it, and so it's nice that this song is out there about how men suffer in their own way too. As a lesbian, the only thing I relate to in this song is the feeling of being surrounded by gorgeous women, but knowing most of them are wanting men. :(

@KornEvanFan24 That could be true, but I always thought the "castrated ones" were men who have gotten beaten down so bad they are shell shocked and don't even try to reach out anymore. When they see a beautiful woman, they feel angry and her "skin makes them sick in the night". I don't know, just my take on it.
