  • Does anyone have something positive to say? (Only negativity about this video)

  • @Maniaclaughter As an instructor in first aid, American Red Cross first aid, and an Emergency Medical Technician for fourteen years... I have nothing positive to say. This is old first aid. You don't need to elevate the legs that high. In fact, laying them flat will be good enough. Warm, still and flat. Good instructions for lay-first-aiders. Call someone to treat them. Control bleeding, keep them breathing, still, flat and warm. Depends what kind of shock too...

  • The woman reminds me of Kirsten Stewart.

  • is that the recovery position in the USA??? scary heh!! Shock is a life threatening condition and this video did not approach the subject appropriately. Appalling presentation!! Poor Josh is the woman a trained paramedic? it is not about the side the person is lying on, is about the handling of the patient that is completely wrong. Hope she does not cause anybody a head injury pushing them over as she did on this video.

  • Poor Josh, he's always having something to wrong.

  • I'm in shock coz of Fayne

  • WRONG DAMN RECOVERY POSITION UGH!!! SUCH UNEDUCATED CRAP

  • shock is simply an inadequacy in oxygenated blood volume and circulation resulting to deprivation of organs and failure of systems... the detour of blood fr the peripheral muscles to vital organs is a compensation mechanism and not the reason for death, it actually prolongs the life for a few more minutes.

  • shock is simply an inadequacy in b

  • fluids! fluids!

  • @norik0 NEVER give someone water when they're in shock.

  • Is shock when your blood is brought to your vital organs from your arms and legs...then your arms and legs dont have any blood so then blood is pumped away from your vital organs and then u pass out???? please tell me if I am wrong.

  • Yes, correct, that's not the proper recovery position. It can be on either side, but we're forgetting to put an arm under the head. and also to be more careful if the person is injured. Since it's most likely that a person trained to do it isn't going to pick up something from youtube, but instead John Q. Neverhadfirstaidtraining. ha ha You don't want their care to do more harm than the ailment.

  • @idigghx Aye! Well stated!... The hand as a pillow for the proper recovery position is extra winning, as well... =)

  • i think the lateral recumbent position is wrong.

  • nice
