Iv'e had repeated ocular migraines ever since, but only in my right eye. I went to the eye doctor recently and found out I had glaucoma in my right eye. The pressure build up gets so bad it makes me feel nauseated. Unfortunately the only long term cure is surgery. Not fun. :/
My 1rst ocular migraine was when I was in 3rd grade. I'm a freshmen in college now and they're worse than ever. I can't focus or see. I don't even have my permit or license because of it. The longest mine lasted was about close to an hour. Then it came back for another hour after my vision finaly cleared. I've even had a series of them occur about every other day for the first three weeks of summer one year. Not only my head hurts but also my whole eye if not both and certains places of my face.
I think I get these, but I'm not sure. When it happens I can see, but I can focus on absolutely nothing. I can't read or drive. It goes away in 15-20 minutes but it can be dangerous when I'm driving. I have no pain with these migraines.
My first ocular migraine at 45, have about 6 times a year now, I think mine are triggerd by high contrast light, computers black on white, low bright sunlight when the sky is dark after a shower and the sun comes through on the horizon, dont think theres a connection with food, just have to sit it out for 15 minuted.
Having a lot of ocular migraines at the moment. Very stressful time for me, I'm taking my exams in my last year of school before University. Guess it could be related?
I know what cigarettes are. You don't need to show me a picture of them. Cigarettes are about the most disgusting looking things to me, and I hate that they have to be shown whenever mentioned.
my migraines are wierd, i had them about 4 years im 16 now, and back then i lost most of my sight, then a really bad headache afterward. Now i get some headaches and on occasion get the same migraine where i cant see rarely, but after that i dont have any pain. I just want these to go away. i get mine from focusing to hard, playing videos games or watching tv.
@Lion4free mine as well i got an accident and my right eye cant see...after that i get a headahce but mostly maximum only 2 hours.....it is so hurt....until my eyes red and tears come and also runny from my nose....i tried so many medicine and medication stil not getting well....its 12 years now already...do u have any clue?
@gotenoct recently i have had a huge lack of vitamin B12 in my diet, and learned im allergic to chocolate, try to find if you have an allergy, and take vitamins for B12, it is a leading cause of migraines if you don't have enough, it fixed me, good luck
